The document outlines objectives for a lesson on photosynthesis. Students will learn to: identify organelles involved in photosynthesis like chloroplasts and thylakoids; describe the two main processes of light reaction and dark reaction; understand the importance of photosynthesis in daily life; and create a song/poem/jingle about photosynthesis. It then provides details about the light reaction and dark reaction phases, including that photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight to produce sugar and oxygen through the chloroplasts in plant cells.
4. OBJECTIVES
At the end of 60-mintue period, the students are expected to:

Editor's Notes
Please take your seat everyone, is there any absent for today?NO one. that’s sounds great
As far as I know we have an assignment right?
Ok, get your assignment and kindly pass it forward. I will be the one to check that.
Before we proceed to our next topic for today let’s have first a recap about our past lesson. What was our lesson last meeting?
Good Remembering!Alright, who can innumeratethe major parts of the Plants?
That’s we called retention! Very Good. I think you have already mastered our past lesson. Let’s now proceed to our new topic for today.
But B4 that , I will present to you first our OBJECTIVES-for today
1. Motivation Ok class before we start our lesson, we will have first a check-up Test game. The title of our game is “Puzzle Pics”
I have here the materials that you were going to use. I will group you into five, each group has its own pictures to fix with. What you are going to do is that, work with your group and together arrange the cut pictures into one. You only have 2 minutes to do that. Post it on the board after you are done. The group who can successfully done first will be declared as the winner and choose one member to present here on front. GOOD LUCK! Break a Leg!
Congratulations class! You really make this fun. Thank you for your cooperation. Ok, upon doing our activity, what do you think is our lesson for today?
That’s it! Good thinking.Life here on Earth is solar powered, it means that almost all the processes thatis happening is powered by the energy comesfrom the Sun.
So our topic for today focusses on the process on how plants make their own food or known as photosynthesis.
Upon entering our lesson for today, we were going to take
Adventure.
In these adventure, we were going to find out the organelles involved in the process on how plants make their own food.
There were two process that was happening during Photosynthesis.the Light reaction and Dark Reaction.
LETS EXLORE
The sun has the so called photons-a particle of light that fuels the processof photosynthesis. These particles enter the leaves through the stomata.
After it enters the stomata, where is its next destination?
After it enters inside the leaves through the stomata. It will go to the Chloroplast.
Nice Going! The Chloroplast is the structure in the cellsof plants where the photosynthesis take place. It compose of the chlorophyll- a pigment that gives the leaves its green color and absorbs thelight comes from the sun.
Plants use water to manufacture carbohydrates, which are essential for energy supply throughout the plant. If water is insufficient, plants may not be able to make enough food to sustain healthy growth.
All you have to do is that using this arrows, connect all the pictures on the board to showthe light reaction phase of Photosynthesis.
In these phase, the sunlight in no longer neededinstead, carbon dioxide is on the go.What do you think is the role of the carbon dioxidein the process of Photosynthesis?
Finally, these carbohydrates is now the end product of photosynthesis which is very helpful in all animals especially humansto provide us food in our everyday life..Then the cycle will continue as long as the plant is living.
Ok, before we end up our discussion let us continue again our activity the “FREE WIFI CONNECTED NA KAMI PART II”
Anybody, who can connect the light reaction phase to dark reaction phase to come up with the end product-called carbohydrates…
Anybody, who can connect the light reaction phase to dark reaction phase to come up with the end product-called carbohydrates.
That was really fun class!Upon coming to the end, we now traced how plants make their own food. For you to better understand and appreciate the process of Photosynthesis let’s watch this video clip.
Perfect! That is what I really want to hear from you!
To sum up based on our lesson for today who can explain briefly how plants make their own food?
Before we end up or lesson let’s have an activity again, this will be the group 2,.What you are going to do is that make a slogan by utilizing the materials to be given about how Photosynthesis. You will be given 3 minutes to work with it. But before that, let me present to you first the criteria in judging your works.
After you’ve finished , choose your representative to present your work here on front.
The other groups will be the one to grade you by just raising the number that corresponds to your performance.
