2. Information About Corona
Virus
Before Creating Awareness About Corona Virus we should have basic info about
it so here it is ...
There are three species of Corona Virus:
1. Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)
2. Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS)
3. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Out Of these three , COVID 19 had a recently spread as pandemic in world.
Disease – COVID 19
Virus Strain - SARS-CoV-2
Source – Probably Bats (Pangolins)
First Outbreak – China
CORONA VIRUS
3. In World :In December 2019, a pneumonia outbreak was reported in
Wuhan, China. On 31 December 2019, the outbreak was traced to a novel
strain of Corona Virus, which was given the interim name 2019-nCoV by the
World Health Organization (WHO),which is supposed to emerge from a illegal
Non-Veg market In WUHAN .
In India: On 30 January, India reported its first case of COVID-19 in Kerala,
which rose to three cases by 3 February; all were students who had returned from
Wuhan, China.

peoples will develop mild to moderate illness .

7. TEST FOR CORONA VIRUS:
In case you feel your symptoms are specific to the
coronavirus you should immediately go for medical
checkup. . There are specific labs set up for
conducting coronavirus tests, so you may be
directed to one of these labs.
Now this samples are being tested by Molecular or
Serological process
MOLECULAR TEST:
They usually involve taking a sample from the back of the
throat with a cotton swab. The doctor then sends the sample
off for testing.
The sample will undergo a polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
test. This type of test detects signs of the virus’s genetic
material.
A PCR test can confirm a diagnosis of COVID-19 if it identifies
two specific SARS-CoV-2 genes. If it identifies only one of
these genes, it will produce an inconclusive result.
Molecular tests can only help diagnose current cases of
Sample
Collection
PCR
EQUIPMENT
8. SEROLOGICAL TEST:
These tests detect antibodies that the body produces to fight the virus.
These antibodies are present in anyone who has recovered from
COVID-19.
The antibodies exist in blood and tissues throughout the body. A
serological test usually requires a blood sample.
Serological tests are particularly useful for detecting cases of infection
with mild or no symptoms.
The samples would be taken at least 21 days after symptoms first
developed. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are
currently developing a serological test for SARS-CoV-2, and are looking
for blood samples from anyone who had COVID-19.
#### If you test positive for COVID-19 by a viral test, know what
protective steps to take if you are sick or caring for someone.
If you test negative for COVID-19 by a viral test, you probably were
not infected at the time your sample was collected. However, that does
not mean you will not get sick. The test result only means that you did
not have COVID-19 at the time of testing.
TREATMENT:Most of the peoples who have recovered are because of
their IMMUNITY which fights against the virus .There is not proper
treatment developed yet for virus .
Many chemical Hydroxychloroquine , Azithromycin & Drugs cocktails are
being tested but gave Unsucessful results . Remedesivir is under test .
9. MAHARASHTRA
INDIA
Among all the states
of INDIA ,

increase are we , So its a high time and we should take preventive measure be
safe and be informed .
Use AAROGYA SETU app launched by Government which helps us to know
that :

2.IS THEIR ANY COVID POSITIVE CASE NEARBY US?
3.CORONA UPDATES!
