1. Nifty Options - OI Distribution
 The Nifty was down by 90.95 points or
1.10% to settle at 8,170.80.
 As per the OI data, the maximum OI
outstanding for Calls was at 8300 SP and
that for Puts was at 8000 SP which
indicates for overall range of the Nifty for
the month of December. Moreover, if Nifty
gives close above 8300 level then we
might witness good upside movement till
then one could use sell on rise upto the
level of 8200 with SL of 8240, while
downside Nifty may fall upto the level of
8080.
 Nifty December 2016 futures closed at
8183.40 on Monday at a premium of 12.60
points over spot closing of 8170.80.
 Nifty December futures saw a contraction
of 0.65 million units, taking the total
outstanding open interest to 16.50 million
units.
 Among most active underlying, SBI
witnessed a contraction of 0.97 million of
Open Interest in the December month
futures contract, followed by Vedanta
witnessing an addition of 0.57 million of
Open Interest in the December month
contract.
 The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI
were Colgate-Palmolive (India) (2.52), Hero
MotoCorp (1.60), Eicher Motors (1.48),
Vedanta (1.39) and Apollo Hospitals
Enterprise (1.30).

2. Derivative Strategy Pay- Off Chart
 The India Volatility Index increased by 7.47% and reached
16.19.
 Among Nifty calls, 8300 SP from the December month
expiry was the most active call with an addition of 0.53
million open interests. Among Nifty puts, 8000 SP from
the December month expiry was the most active put with
a contraction of 0.22 million open interests.
 The Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) finally stood at 1.19 for
December month contract.
