1. Nifty Options - OI Distribution
 The Nifty was up by 53.30 points or 0.61% to settle
at 8,778.00.
 As per the OI data, the maximum OI outstanding
for Calls was at 9000 SP and that for Puts was at
8500 SP. Besides, Nifty may play its game
between the range of 8720-8830 level. However,
either side breakout will lead the Nifty towards
that particular direction.
 Nifty February 2017 futures closed at 8787.60 on
Thursday at a premium of 9.60 points over spot
closing of 8778.00.
 Among Nifty calls, 8800 SP from the February
month expiry was the most active call with a
contraction of 6.1 Lakh open interests. Among
Nifty puts, 8700 SP from the February month
expiry was the most active put with an addition of
5.3 Lakh open interests.
 Nifty February futures saw a contraction of 4.7
Lakh units, taking the total outstanding open
interest to 2.46 Cr. units.
 Among most active underlying, State Bank of India
witnessed a contraction of 8.6 Lakh units of Open
Interest in the February month futures contract,
followed by Vedanta witnessing a contraction of
1.4 Lakh units of Open Interest in the February
month contract, Tata Motors witnessed a
contraction of 87.2 Lakh units of Open Interest in
the February month contract.
 The top gainers on Nifty were Aurobindo Pharma
up by 4.27%, Sun Pharma up by 4.27%, Infosys up
by 3.08%, Maruti Suzuki up by 2.85% and Eicher
Motors up by 2.58%.
 On the flip side, ITC down by 2.60%, Bharti Infratel
down by 1.78%, Asian Paints down by 1.19%,
Larsen & Toubro down by 1.01% and Bosch down
by 0.98% were the top losers.

2. Derivative Strategy Pay- Off Chart
 The India Volatility Index decreased by 3.39% and
reached 13.73.
 The Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) finally stood at 1.16 for
February month contract.
 The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Oracle
Financial Services Software (2.00), Eicher Motors
(1.55), Bharti Airtel (1.48), Sun TV Network (1.42) and
TVS Motor (1.25).
