However, there is no rap magazine aimed
at this target group in North London.

America London
4. I aim to tackle this problem by creating a rap
magazine for them that will be both
entertaining, and informative.
5. Target Audience
Primary target audience:
17-22-year-olds of both
genders. Females too, because
female rap artists are also
starting to emerge into the rap
scene.
Secondary target audience:
30-40-year-old males – this
age group were the people
who were at the primary target
audience age group when rap
started emerging, and I will
include ‘older’ rap artists and
news as well.
6. Title and Fonts
I will title the magazine ‘LIVE’,
because in slang terms, this
translates to ‘exciting’.
I will use 2 serif fonts:
Rockwell (Title and
Cover Line)
and
Times New Roman
(inside content)
9. Distribution and Marketing
Distribution:
Print form:
• Light coated paper at 50-60gsm
Online - web form.
• For the online copy, I will convert
the magazine into a PDF file so
that online readers can straight
away read it on their browser - on
most browsers, there are pdf
readers built-in.
Marketing Methods:
• Social Media Advertising
• Traditional Newspaper Ads
• A3-A1 Posters around North London
• TV/Radio/Spotify Advertising
• Google Ads
• Flyers
