- Pressure switches are tested by applying pressure from the hand pump and monitoring when the switch contact opens at the setpoint pressure. The crystal meter shows the switch changing from closed to open.

This document provides instructions for building three test devices: a break out box to connect cables and measure voltage, frequency, current, and simulate 4-20 mA and frequency signals; a 4-20 mA simulator using a resistor and light switch to demonstrate current levels; and a pressure transducer tester using a 9V battery and switch to calibrate transducers at 3.9 mA and 19.9 mA readings. Connectors, test points, and components are soldered together to construct the boxes, which are used with a digital meter to test and troubleshoot process instrumentation.
Tank radar set up
This document provides instructions for setting up tank radar and radar master software:
1. Connect the Hart communicator to the radar and select basic setup to input measurements like tank dimensions and material properties. Offset the radar level reading to match the hand gauge measurement.
2. Install a 250 ohm resistor in the radar power supply circuit for HART communications. Connect the Hart communicator leads on either side.
3. Open the radar master software, set the communication settings to connect to the HART communicator port, and scan to find the instrument. Then use the setup wizard to input the radar configuration.
Frac turbine flow meters and mag meters
Turbine and electromagnetic (mag) flow meters are used to measure suction and discharge rates on blenders. Turbine flow meters require a calibration factor that should be attached to the meter or rebuild kit. For low flow rates, a 4-inch meter is better than an 8-inch meter. Turbine meters wear out over time but can be rebuilt. Mag meters use flow tube tag information to program the transmitter. Pie frequency generators and LCR meters can be used to troubleshoot mag meters. Manuals provide instructions for setup, programming, and troubleshooting of mag meters.
How to manipulate a blender screw speed and

DEEP LEARNING FOR SMART GRID INTRUSION DETECTION: A HYBRID CNN-LSTM-BASED MODEL
As digital technology becomes more deeply embedded in power systems, protecting the communication
networks of Smart Grids (SG) has emerged as a critical concern. Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3)
represents a multi-tiered application layer protocol extensively utilized in Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA)-based smart grids to facilitate real-time data gathering and control functionalities.
Robust Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are necessary for early threat detection and mitigation because
of the interconnection of these networks, which makes them vulnerable to a variety of cyberattacks. To
solve this issue, this paper develops a hybrid Deep Learning (DL) model specifically designed for intrusion
detection in smart grids. The proposed approach is a combination of the Convolutional Neural Network
(CNN) and the Long-Short-Term Memory algorithms (LSTM). We employed a recent intrusion detection
dataset (DNP3), which focuses on unauthorized commands and Denial of Service (DoS) cyberattacks, to
train and test our model. The results of our experiments show that our CNN-LSTM method is much better
at finding smart grid intrusions than other deep learning algorithms used for classification. In addition,
our proposed approach improves accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, achieving a high detection
accuracy rate of 99.50%.

- 8. 20 ma is shown on transmitter. Under device menu you can choose configure.
- 9. Under Configuration you can select Basic Set up and Configure Transmitter.
- 10. Very simple to Use to configure Hart Devices. Here is a Trex Connected to an E&H Radar Through Hart.
