3. Check Meter Status. RED LED Light flashing
Indicates fault or calibration Mode.
4. LED Flash rate Indicates what type of
Fault for meter.
• LED Light Not Flashing – Normal Operation
• Continuous Flashing of LED Light- Check Probe Wire on
Card.
• LED flashes four times and off for two seconds and
repeats - Under Range such as an empty meter.
• LED flashes two times and off for two seconds and
repeats- Below Calibration point.
• LED flashes three times and off for two seconds and
repeats- Over calibration Point.
• LED flashes six times and off for one second and repeats-
Meter over range -probe shorted or Saltwater in meter.
6. Calibration Set up to correct other LED Fault codes.
Push Both Buttons at same time to put in calibration
mode.
7. Calibration Steps
• Make sure Meter is full of oil.
• Hold both up and down buttons down until LED lights up solid not flashing.
• Release buttons and LED will stay lit for 3-5 seconds. LED will do a quick flash every
two seconds to indicate in calibration Mode.
• Connect a volt meter to test points. The meter should measure a voltage 0-5 volts.
• Write down measured value for reference.
• Take a sample of oil and perform a grind out to find water cut percentage for
Calibration Point.
• Enter CUT calibration point using the down and up buttons.
• When Done with Calibration hold both up and down buttons down until LED
comes on solid and release buttons.
• Note at any moment while in calibration mode you can cycle power on card to
start over and old calibration point will be restored.
8. Perform Grind Out on Oil Sample to find Water
Cut Percentage to use as Calibration Point.
9. Use up and down buttons to put Cut calibration number in
Meter. DC Volt meter will show Calibration Value.
10. Dip switch can choose to fail Hi or Low
on Detector Card 4528 EZ
11. The Blue Pot by the switch under LCD display can be
used to adjust LCD voltage to match detector voltage
