This presentation, is an exhibition as to who Dave Lewis is, a deeply passionate and driven individual who will constantly strive to make their employer satisfied with their work.

passionate about.

2. Academic Achievements
 As of December 2015, I graduated from Kean University with a
Honors History degree and a 3.7 GPA. As a part of this program, I
developed advanced research skills and showcased these skills.
Specifically, I followed the paths of former students that served in the
Second World War as they travelled throughout the world. I presented
my findings at the 2015 Northeast Regional Honors Council and Kean
University's Research Days in which I informed attendees about the
soldiers' travels and the guides they were given by the United States
government in order to survive.
As well as presenting on the soldiers, I also created and presented a
poster on my findings during my internship at Liberty Hall.
On the next slide, you'll find two photos from these events.

4. Liberty Hall Internship
At Liberty Hall, I inspected, photographed, and catalogued all
38 Horological instruments that the museum has in its
collection.
These instruments ranged from grandfather clocks from the
1600s to dive watches from the 1980s.
Some notable manufacturers are; Leroy, Jules Jurgensen, and
possibly Patek Philippe (as there is a Tiffany watch that was
manufactured during the period in which Patek made
movements for Tiffany watches.

11. New York Horological Society Classes
 I am a member of the New York Horological Society and have
taken two out of their three classes which introduce its members
and collectors to the skills and sciences one must know in order
to be a skilled Horologist.
Horology 101: In the first class, I disassembled and
reassembled a ETA 6497 movement and learned about the
purposes of each gear and how they work together.
Horology 102: In the second class, I also disassembled and
reassembled a ETA 6497 movement but I was also taught about
the different theories and formulas that go into the gear train.

12. Instagram
My Instagram page has enabled me to engage with many other watch
enthusiasts throughout the past couple years and it really showcases
my passion for not only my own personal collection but for those in
the industry that share their own or their brands collections.
My Instagram exhibits my belief that watches especially vintage
watches are a combination of History and Art on your wrist. One
example is my Bulova A-11 which was issued to Allied Forces during
the Second World War. The watch has a beautifully clean and crisp
aesthetic to it but also is functional as when one needs to reset the
time, the seconds hand stops in order to make synchronization more
efficient. Thus making the A-11 the first watch to be able to do so.

13. Kean Hurling Club
During my time at Kean University, I founded an Irish Cultural society that
spread awareness of Irish Language and Culture through Hurling, an ancient
Gaelic sport.
Through this experience, I have learned to communicate and interact with
various different communities and organizations and people in order to improve
upon the conditions of having such a unique organization. An example would be
when my club mates and I were on DIY's television program, Man Caves.
 In addition to this, I have learned how to organize funds and events to further
the condition of the group.
I have led the team to two trophies and multiple top three placements in
tournaments throughout the country as well.
