Curriculum Vitae
Summary
Being a hardworking, dedicated and reliable worker I thrive in a team environment. Using my initiative in fast paced and
demanding roles my goal for customer satisfaction is paramount. Utilizing my vast amount of warehouse knowledge,
alongside product knowledge my key performance indicators are always met in excess. I have personally managed 5
separatewarehouses simultaneously meeting client and company expectations in full. I believe there is no limit to what a
person can learn or achieve, and that one’s choices should be made as a progressive means for self development and
improvement.
The Objective
To improve performance, customer service, productivity and profitability.
Once employed by Goldstar Transport, theoperations position in general freight was addressed and I managed to achieve a
healthy growth from 65/35 of metro deliveries (65% to just the oppositeviaadvanced account management and a more
professional approach to customer service. Now there is a role reversal to report 35/65 (35% metro).
The move to theCCA contract which delivered approximately 84,000 tonnes of product PA innitially. This area of business
needed to change to improve.
Present day CCA delivers now 300,000 tonnes +
My Plan
With traffic management for this site being addressed, made for a more efficient sitedue to less congestion and better
management of on site vehicles.
My objective was to increase profitability whilst minimising resources. This was achieved by building a more streamlined
and more efficient workforce. By introducing a better appraisal and development process for all employees to work more
toward continual improvement.
I achieved this with collaboration of thestaff and the setting of business and personalKPI’s. These were managed,
monitored and followed through to achieve thedesired result.
Method
To increase professionalism and the perception created by the customer is overcome by building a better relationship via
better communication and honesty. After all, we are all striving for a result. This applied to everyone from driver to
manager. As a result thecustomer always had the company in mind for any extra work.
Planning all deliveries for the day with strict time schedules.
Plan all loads and personnel to ensure labour has strict guidelines and all departments collaborate and achieve timelines.
All trucks were monitored via MT Datasystemto ensure vehicles locations/ to minimise down time.
With the preparation of all communication, is to include all staff. ( via toolbox, meetings or general memo)
A SWP was produced to bring all staff under a safety umbrella to ensure personal and equipment safety.
The result being LTI’s were reduced to zero.
