My powerpoint of rap video analysis.

2. Mis-en-scent (Costume)
Riana's costume is the same through
out the video, however sometimes she
has her hood up and sometimes down.
She is wearing leather to try and
suggest that she is had and what she is
singing about doesn't bother get to her.

3. Mis-en-scent (Costume)
When the man is in the felids he is
always in a Wight vest top and
black trousers, so the costume is
always the same. Its again
representing his character, it is
trying to show that he is hard.
The woman throughout the video
is always wearing a vest top and
shorts. This again shows her
personality of the character and
the type of situation they are in.

4. Mis-en-scent (Props/set/scenery)
The props that they use are
normal house use such as lamps.
This music video is set in a
house, filed, and out side of the
house when it is burning.
The woman is sitting holding fire
in her hands. But it is set in a
living room.

5. Mis-en-scent (Props/set/scenery)
The man singing
is in a filed.
Riana is singing
in front of a
burning house.

7. Camera
Right at the beginning of
the video it is a close up of
Riana singing.
It then turns to a wide shot
of the couple in bed
together so they are starting
to act out what she and
Menem is singing about.
After it goes back to a close
up od her singing, but she s
looking right into the
camera as if she is looking
at the audience and
speaking.

8. Camera
After thoughts three shots, it
goes to a wide shot of the
woman sitting in the front
room holding fire in her
hand.
It goes back to Riana singing,
because she is telling a story.
It goes back to mid shot of
the woman to try and make it
more intense but slowly, and
its drawing the audience to
the subject.

9. Camera
It goes back to a close up
of Riana for the last time
in the chorus.
Now it is a close up of the
couple in bed because this
is when the story starts.
Now the camera is a wide
shot on the ground
looking up to the man
singing in the filed.

10. Camera
It then turns into a close
up of the man singing so
the audience focus on
him and it makes them
listen to what he has got
to say.
Goes back to the close
up of them in bed to
start telling the story.
It goes to a mid shot of
the man singing in the
filed again.

11. Camera
This is a close up of
them in bed. Then the
woman gets up out of
bed.
It then goes back to
the wide shot of the
man singing in the
filed.
After it is a ide shot of
the woman attacking
the man in bed.

12. Camera
After the short part of the
woman attacking the man it
then goes back to the singer in
the filed and it is a mid shot.
It then goes back to a close up
of the man attacking the
woman. And then a wide shot.
To continue with the story, it is
a mid shot of the woman
walking away from the man.
