1. BEWIZARD
My script is about retired wizard, Calum, is forced
to go back in time accompanied by a witch friend,
Valerie, after the Great Old Wizard informs him
that evil is about to enter their lives. To prevent it,
the two must go back in time to find old artifacts
that will free the Great Old Wizard from
imprisonment that the evil has placed him in (the
Great Old Wizard has been trapped in a mirror
world- the only way he can communicate with anyone
is through mirrors, he is lucky to have connected
with the main character). The main character is
resentful to be involved with magic, due to losing
his wife in the hands of the Villain, Chailer, an evil
wizard who was a student of the Great Old Wizard
but grew greedy and selfish and wanted all the
magic for himself. After hearing that The Great
Old Wizard is going to pass along his wand and title
to Calum, his other student, Chailer kills Stella,
Calum’s wife and flees. He traps the Great Old
Wizard in the mirror real years later, after he
trained for many years and became just as powerful
as the GOW. The magic of the witches and wizards
start to fade as the main character loses hope and
begins to give up, the memories of his wife being
too strong and sad for him to carry on. He leaves
the witch friend and goes back to his home,
meanwhile the magic world is falling apart. After
some persuasion from Valerie, and Stella visiting
him as a ghost, Calum finally comes to his senses
and defeats the evil, sets the Great old wizard free
and saves magic and magic people from extinction.
Calum is then knighted “The Great One”, and
Valerie becomes his right-hand witch.
The genre I have chosen for my script is:
Fantasy – my script includes magic, wands
and wizards.
Comedy – I have hints of humour
throughout my script.
My script narrative is linear, since my
script goes in chronological order. My
script is also multi-stranded, since
there is more than one narrative
happening in the script. Eg; Calum and
Valerie trying to defeat the villain,
Calum grieving and Valerie having
relationship problems.
My movie will be about 90
minutes. Because my script
overall will have 90 pages.
However, I will only be using 6
minutes of the script so script
will only be 6 pages long.
My target audience are late teens to
30-year-olds of both genders – in my
script, I have a diverse cast of
different genders and sexualities,
which my target audience will be able to
relate to. I have also included dead pan
and modern-day humour, which is
popular within my target audience age
range.
My script will be in elaborate
code. The reason why my script is
in elaborate code is so my script
is explicit and detailed, so the
director is clear on actions,
settings and what characters are
in the scene.
The language in my script will
reflect genre due to the
informality, since fantasy comedy
includes a lot of comedy and
sarcasm which is not formal.
2. BEWIZARD
The message on the target audience is
if you carry on pursuing your dreams
and doing what you want to do in life,
then you will be successful and happy.
The language I will use in my script will be
informal. This is because I have included
witty like and modern-day humour, which
applies to my target audience. I have also
made my characters in my script around the
same age as my target audience, so the
language they use if very sarcastic, which is
again, informal.

3. Foreshadowing o towards the end of the film, when both Valerie
and ghost Stella express their proudness and Calum’s capability
towards him. This motivates him to save the world.
