3. inspiration for logo
One inspiration for my Vesi logo is Evian.
The reason behind this is that in the
Evian logo there are the French Alps
behind the text where the water was
founded, and my colour scheme is
inspired by the northern lights that can
be found in Finland where Vesi was
founded – both me and Evian have added
hints of our water brands history in the
logo, educating audiences.
I was also inspired by the brief. The
brief mentions that Vesi are hoping to
release their advertising campaign
during the summer, so I made my logo
and adverts based in summer-time – etc,
people drinking Vesi in the hot weather
and gaining energy and feeling
refreshed. Wave like
symbol under
letters.

4. inspiration for logo
By using a logo maker website
called manage.wix.com, I
browsed through a selection of
logos it had generated for me.
These four designs were my
favourite. The reason they are
my favourites are because the
designs are simple but effective.
Due to the simplicity of them,
they are easy to remember, and
the aqua colours make them eye
catching. I didn’t want to over
complicate my logo design
because it may then become
difficult to remember and will
be too distracting.

5. rough sketches
This is my first very rough
draft. I used the font Sun
Flower for the logo and
Airplanes in the Night Sky for
the tagline. I used inspiration
from the logos I generated on
Wix.com to put a water droplet
for the dot on the ‘I’. I wanted
my logo design to be simple so
its memorable, and easy to find
in shops. My tagline represents
the logo, with its simplicity.

6. final logo design
This is my final draft of my logo design. I used “Sun Flower”
and “Airplanes in the Night Sky” for my logo and tagline. The
colours of the logo are inspired by the northern lights in
Finland where the Vesi water was founded. I added a water
droplet for the dot on the I, and the colours of the droplet
are a gradient of greens and purples, the colours of the
northern lights in Finland, paying homage to where the water
was founded. I was inspired by the water brand Evian, who
reference their waters founding place in their logo too. The
colour scheme not only represents the waters founding
place, but the green is associated with nature. Green is also
a colour that is associated with health, and this highlights
Vesi’s health benefits to those who drink it. The light blue
represents freedom and peacefulness.
I am also using the singular droplet for an even simpler
logo; audiences will recognise it due to my simple logo
design and the colour scheme of the droplet references
the bigger logo and the northern lights.
