I am very interested in the “Marketing Coordinator Position” with a Company. I came across this
opportunity via “on my style careers site”. What interests me in this position is that it deals with
marketing and merchandising in which I have experience.
I believe I would be a valuable asset to your Company due to my solid experience providing
quality customer service and marketing support. Currently, I am a Customer Care Specialist in the Fraud
Department with Toys R Us. It is my responsibility to investigate incidents involving fraudulent
purchases,in addition to handling regular customer issues with orders, tracking, gift cards,and refunds. I
have worked for Toys R Us for over three years,during which I was also a Visual Signage Assistant and
an E-Commerce Merchandizing Coordinator.
While I pride myself on delivering excellent customer assistance,I enjoy the creative aspects of
marketing and merchandizing. As a Visual Signage Assistant, I was responsible for coordinating with the
Buying Team and Advertising teams to develop all signs for Toys R Us, Babies R Us, and Express store
promotional events and deals. As an E-Commerce Merchandizing Coordinator, I aided the Buyer’s
Assistant by writing product descriptions for online features that properly reflected all information
required by the vendor. I also regularly communicated with the Merchandizing department regarding new
product additions and discontinued product removal. In these positions, I honed my networking, project
management and interdepartmental communication abilities to uphold the brand’s reputation and
contribute to the overall company productivity.
It is worth noting that I am a self-starter and I am confortable working independently, as well as
part of a team. For these reasons, The Brand Communications interests me and I would be very optimistic
to work in an environment where I could utilize my unique skillset. I look forward to having the
