would like to take this opportunity to express my interest in one of your current job
openings.
After researching the credentials and expectations of this position, I find that I would be
a perfect fit. My education and professional experience have fully prepared me for
meeting the requirements of this position.
I believe myself to be concise, detail oriented, organized and resourceful. I take a great
amount of pride in the way I am perceived professionally and that drives me to perform
to the best of my ability for my customers and co-workers alike.
When confronted with a challenging task, I do my best to ask the right questions to
make sure that the requirements are fully understood. I will always check back to
determine that the assignment is free of error, if ever I am unsure. It’s just easier to do
things right the first time!
My prior employment experience has put me at the forefront of customer and client
interaction. I have never met a stranger and can make friends with anyone. One thing
that sets me apart from others is the fact that I understand the meaning of building
rapport and solidifying a trusting relationship between myself and those I work with. I
believe that everyone, no matter their social status or employment position, deserves the
same amount of respect and integrity.
I graduated from Emporia State University with a degree in Communication and an
emphasis in Public Relation. This, along with my management experience, has given me
the tools necessary to interact effectively with co-workers and customers. Throughout
my various jobs, I have always handled customer requests, concerns and complaints
with compassion and finesse. In person and on the phone, I am cheerful, personable and
eager to please.
