SCHEDULE OF DAY WORK RATES (VIC) - VALID FOR 2021
The following Schedule of Rates are survey base rates applicable to all survey work undertaken
which are outside contract or fixed fees. The use of these rates is subject to AAM’s Terms of
Engagement as below.
AAM Resource Price per hour during normal site hours (excl. GST)
Solo Surveyor (Field/Site) $130
Field Party (Surveyor & Assistant) $210
Drafting (Office) $110
Normal site hours are 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday. A loading of 50% is applicable for out
of normal hours (inc Saturday). A 75% loading applies to Sundays. Other rates (e.g. night rates
or public holiday rates) can be provided upon request.
Minimum call out is for a four (4) hour period Monday to Friday and five (5) hours on Saturdays
and Sundays.
The above rates are inclusive of all surveying equipment.
Attendance at meetings, consultancy, inductions, office computations and any other works for
the project underway will be charged as above. The above rates are base rates, which shall
be additional for each person, where applicable.
Day Works or Variations are defined as any item or request made by the client or client
representative for survey works, computations or other project related services not covered by
specific contractual items as described in the quotation provided.
Stand by and Stand Down
AAM reserves the right to delay or re-schedule Contract, Day or Variation Survey Works in
cases of Bad Weather, Occupational Health and Safety, industrial activity, or other
circumstance beyond our control. Every attempt shall be made to cooperate with the client
and other parties if this should arise. If requested to standby, then a standby time equivalent
to 80% of the rates shown above shall be applicable.
Payment
Payment for services shall be made under the Building and Construction Industry Security of
Payment Act 2002 (Vic). AAM reserves the right to cease work if any accounts are outstanding
for 14 days in excess of the prescribed periods in the act.
