Ans. 1) WordPress is Website designing application.
WordPress is an open-source CMS (content management system) and allows the users to build
dynamic website and blog.
2. How to create a Page?
Ans. There are different type of pages.
pages- we can add pages like home, services, about us, contact us and further depends
on the requirement.
New page > Creating a new page. Log in to WordPress admin screen >Click the pages >
add new in the left sidebar> Give your page a title by typing it in the box at the top that
says Add title.
3. Steps to create a Footer Menu?
Ans. Footer Menu: -
Go to WordPress Admin Area and Go to Appearance>Click on Menus>to create a New
Menu>add menu items and save menu.

1. WordPress left menu, go to Pages and enter the page which you wish to assign your header to.
2. From the Page Options, click on Footer.
3. As Type, select Custom, and below that, select your footer Template.

Ans. Go to WordPress Admin Area click on post in the left sidebar go to All post>Add New and mention

Ans. 1) Go to WordPress Admin Area click on setting in the left sidebar go to Reding > scroll down and
locate the search engine visibility option.
2)Check the option discourage search engines from indexing the site> Save changes and that’s it.
7. From where we can set a featured image in a post?
Ans. Go to WordPress admin screen click on post in the left sidebar select Add New and Click on the title
of the post and see the settings on the right side, scroll down locate the Featured Image section.
Click on the set featured image area and upload the image and finally publish the post featured image.

11. Difference between static and dynamic websites
Ans. Nature of Websites
1)Static Website- Static website work for smaller websites with a limited number of pages and don't
require frequent content updates. On which we do changes very less, not more. Example- personal
portfolio, a company brochure site, and a product promo page. Static then use some 'Blogs' in your
website (Blog website- Information site for long term)
i) Content of Web pages cannot be change at runtime.
ii) It is faster to load as compared to dynamic website.
iii) Cheaper Development costs.
iv) Same content is delivered every time the page is loaded.
2)Dynamic Website- dynamic website work for smaller and larger websites with a huge number of
images, pages and required more content updates every time. (Changes website)- example E-
commerce-websites, Netflix, Facebook, tweeter, you tube and Gamil.
i) Content of Web pages can be changed.
ii) It is faster to load as compared to dynamic website.
iii) More Development costs.
iv) Content may change every time the page is loaded.

Ans. Go to WordPress admin screen click on post in the left sidebar select Add New and start creating a
new post after then keep title name enter Publish. The post will display on your website.
15. How to upload an image on your server through WordPress?
Ans. Media library- add images, graphics, documents(pdf).
Visit your dashboard click on Media in the left sidebar. Choose a file (or multiple files) from your device
to upload. Once the file has finished uploading.
16. How to insert a link in a text?
Ans. Select the text that you want to display as a Link. the text and click Link on the shortcut menu.
In the Insert Hyperlink box, type or paste your link in the Address box and click ok.
17. What is the use of plugins in WordPress?
Ans. Plugins are online software which help in developing websites.
plugin- where we can add or manage plugins useful for website. (Plugins are tools & applications) which
is necessary for website designing process on WordPress.
18. How to insert a logo in the footer section of a website?
Ans. 1 Step- log in to WordPress Dashboard go to Appearance > Customize tab. Customizer page will
open. From there you can edit your website’s appearance.
2 step- You’ll see the options available for customization in the left column. Locate Footer tab. As a
result, footer options will open.
3 step- Go to Footer Styles tab and enable Show Footer Logo option. In Logo Upload block, click on
Select image and choose the logo image from Media Library. Otherwise, you can upload it from your
hard drive.
4 step- Now click on Save and Publish button to save the changes. As a result, you’ll have a custom logo
in the footer area.

Ans. Elementor is a WordPress plugin with which we can create website in own way in a simple, fast and
easy way by drag and drop and this plugin helps create a beautiful page using a visual editor.
This Elementor plugin works with any theme and allows you to customize any WordPress theme without
code.
