in Manipur in 2013. It is the first gay-themed Manipuri film and is also
believed to be the first to explore the little-known and rare phenomenon
of men being killed and getting disowned by family members for being
gay in the region. The film aimed at driving across the point of the need
for everyone to be united despite differences in sexual orientation,
among other things.
