Twenty eight years experience as a commercial diver and dive supervisor in the offshore oil
and gas industry, with Subsea 7, formerly Halliburton Subsea, Rockwater, Warton Williams.
Also Technip formerly Stenna Ofshore. Also Acergy formerly Stolt Comex.
Contracts with, Shell, BP, Venture, Marathon, Statoil, Hydro, Total, Centrica, Phillips,
Conoco, Addax.
Air and saturation diving onboard DSV´s Regalia, Semi 1, Semi 2, Bar protector, Rockwater1
Toisa Polaris, 7 Pelican, 7 Atlantic, 7 Falcon, Seawell, Well servicer, Mayo, Osprey and
several platform based dive systems.
Work involved with subsea construction, pipeline and spoolpiece ti-ins. Pipeline pigging and
testing. Subsea structure installation, field commissioning, FPSO flexi riser installation and
commissioning. Subsea tree installation commissioning and fault diagnosis. Choke change
out. Subsea tree hydraulic and electrical hook-up and commissioning.
Inspection of platforms and subsea structures. Visual and ultrasonic inspection, MPI, eddy
current, ACPD, video and still photography. Maintenance of cathodic protection systems, all
in accordance with CSWIP protocol.

Subsea welding with PRS habitat system. Cut, prep and weld on twenty seven welds for
Statoil and Hydro on up to 42 inch pipelines.
Employed with UMC international. Ships hull and propeller cleaning. Underwater application
of paint and adhesive. Acoustic cladding systems. Ships hull and propeller repairs. Inwater
surveys, inspection and NDT. Cofferdams.
Fully competent in use of all subsea equipment and tools, rigging and crane operation.
Fully competent with all offshore legislation and regulations.
Employed as senior safety delegate for Halliburton Subsea in Norway. Involved with task risk
assessments and project planning.
Other commercial diving experience includes salvage work, ship hull maintenance, harbor
construction and maintenance and inspection work.
Prior to commercial diving I served nine years in the Royal Navy as a clearance diver. Duties
included mine and ordnance disposal. Ships hull and harbor inspection. Search and rescue,
Improvised explosive device disposal. Courses in leadership and management.
Fully competent in seamanship, boat handling and rigging.
Competency assessment from established offshore dive company.
Considered safe, competent, reliable and as quick to lead a team, as be a team player.
