In my nine years at TSP I have had the opportunity to fine tune my leadership and management skills from being an
individual contributor to managing and leading individual contributors.
Key Accomplishments
Transitioned a primarily South-Central U.S. project team to a central U.S. program team for the outsourced installation of
NetApp products.
o Part of the management team that developed the winning proposal that awarded us the exclusive Central U.S. outsourced
installation team with NetApp.
o Established a new geographically dispersed team in the North-Central U.S.
Against competition I established and built a new team in the Eastern U.S. as part of the expanded NetApp outsourcing
program that became the primary partner for the territory.
o In building this team very limited funds were invested upfront and all expansion into the territory had to be self-
funded as this new territory was being developed.
o This team went from concept to premier partner in under 18 months.
o After three month’s there was always significantly more revenue than expenses.
Established and created a team targeted to address at risk systems through a complex multi-part replacement program.
o Created and coordinated scheduling for a strong virtual team that traveled over 80% of the time.
o The program objective was to handle 800 systems a year, and my team completed an excess of 1200 systems a year
with only 80% of the staff envisioned for the project. My team also helped establish the western region by doing all
levels of outsourced work.
o Developed changing policies and procedures as the concept to implementation time was less than two weeks.
o Last participants of the program, every other vendor was de-authorized. Through efficient planning the program was
completed 6 months early with almost double the profits.
Stepped in to re-establish the South-Central team.
Created a new non-regional division to address strategic services both internally and as a provided service.
o I created a virtual traveling team that replicates the services in my division.
o I have also created a higher-level consultancy group to expand the business footprint.
o Piloted a new team with a new vendor.
o Established our contract services as a sub-group.
o Currently managing over 40 direct reports.
