 Coordinate and administer support to Hiring Managers for all recruitment opportunities.
 Provide guidance and assistance in the completion of employee performance appraisals.
 Assist Managers with corporate talent management framework and other corporate initiatives.
 Oversee the administration of the employee reward/recognition system within corporate guidelines.
 Ensure that all new employees receive appropriate orientation/training as per job requirements.
 Organize and deliver staff development and corporate training sessions. Ensure regulatory training is delivered
and evaluated for each division.
 Monitor employee survey evaluations to ensure staff development in areas in need of improvement are
addressed.
 Deliver Profiles XT Personality testing on individuals competing for CGS employment opportunities.
 Conduct job performance appraisals and disciplinary meetings in accordance with respective collective bargaining
agreements.
 Ensure that all appropriate documentation and timelines are adhered to regarding the grievance process in all
collective bargaining units.
 Conduct research to provide input and revision to CGS policies and procedures.
 Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all applicable legislation, regulations, and directives to provide
direction and guidance to Managers, community partners, and staff.
 Act as departmental representative on internal and external community working groups.
 Coordinated the development of the Healthy Community Strategic Plan (2010-2014) and Sustainable Mobility
Plan through the RCE Working Group and Healthy Community Funding grant.
 Compiled information in preparation of the Community Development Department Newsletters.
 Supervised and facilitated project based teams / initiatives: i.e. 125th Anniversary of City of Greater Sudbury,
Healthy Community Social Marketing campaign, and various grant application process for community groups.
 Managed the delivery and administration of the Community Placement Program. Supervised support staff
involved in the delivery of the program.
 Assisted with operational reviews of programs funded through various levels of government and prepared reports
as required.
 Completed on-site monitoring and evaluation of community placement clients.
Quantitative
