1. Task 1: Screen grabs for evaluation
1) This is our production company logo, we suited
this to be a thriller production company so that it
matches the film produced making it amore realistic.
2) This scene is like many others, it is there to set
the scene, it shows the character is in a woodland
are which usually makes the film more intense,
along with the filter time make it darker and at
night time it gives it the effect of being in the
middle of nowhere making the audience feel like
they are lost and outside of their comfort zone.
3) Here is the establishing shot, this shot shows the
audience the house of the villain for the first time
the audience sees the trees surrounding it is also a
long length of a clip while tom is walking up to the
house.
2. 4) In this shot we used a point of view shot to emphasize the
fact that tom has no idea where he is, and wants to be aware of
his surroundings so that he can become more comfortable
with the surroundings, the shot is also there to show there is
another place for the villain to come out from to confront tom.
5) In this scene it is tom walking down the main corridor for the
very first time, his head is constantly twitching side to side, as
he is very cautious of his surroundings. This scene confirms for
the audience that.
6) This scene is where we reveal the title to the film and at the
same time the films villain, the effect of revealing them both at
the same time was an idea by tom, as it would give the
audience so much information at once and get the audience
hooked.
7) Is where the main protagonist and the villain come together
for the first time, the inverted effect gives the audience of the
feel of the villain being the opposite side of the spectrum.
8) An up close shot of tom showing his emotions, this is good
for the audience as it gets up close and personal with tom so
they can understand how he is feeling by the way he moves his
eyes mouth and head.
9) the last shot is at a cated angle where it shows tom running
away from Chris, this shot is showing how out of control the
situation he is, and how dominant Chris is being over tom.
