 Sub-consultant to the CM firm (Mott McDonald) for field inspection of the $15
Million construction of bus stops and street improvements in Vancouver,
Washington.
 Inspected all phases of construction: demolition, utilities (storm drainage,
sanitary sewer, electrical / fiber conduit, waterlines, and irrigation), site grading
and compaction, placement of concrete (footings, retaining walls, bus pads,
shelter platforms, sidewalk, curb and gutter), welding of structural steel, roadway
paving (concrete paving and HMAC), striping, landscaping and sign installation.
 Installation of traffic signals, traffic detection loops and cameras, HAWK signals,
traffic signal priority system (TSP) and street lights. Bus shelter electrical
components included lighting, rider information signs, ticket vending machines,
and validators.
 Coordination and scheduling of all field testing: subgrade compaction, field
concrete testing, asphalt density testing, epoxied anchors, structural steel
inspection for welding and ultrasonic testing.
 Monthly review of contractor submitted billing and pay applications; verified
quantities for unit price billing, partial payment for lump sum items, and
