• Managing 2G/3G/4G modem platform power estimation and validation flow.
• Developing in-house tools for more flexible and faster power estimation and validation.
• Planning new modem platform power technology road map and flow consolidate/improve.

Technical Manager
• Define whole system power budgeting of high and low power scenario like benchmark and suspend
standby in stage flexibility estimation. Including system spec, process power/speed scaling/estimation
and developing low power architecture for those over budgeting scenario and co-work with HW/SW
about implement detail in stage before tapeout.
• In charge of PMIC spec definition and especially focus on system power optimization. Defines BUCK
efficiency curve, BUCK/LDO power domain plan, whole system power/thermal control and low power
scenario budgeting.
• Coordinate SW/HW RD to create system DVFS which was not plan before tapeout. DVFS may change
system voltage, frequency and blocking DRAM which causing huge impact to system
bus/Multimedia/Modem and dig out and solving those generated issues than. Managing HW/SW/QA
resource to archive tough task.
• Create Peripheral calibration flow for DVFS to fit different customers mass production request.
• Co-work with SW to solving phone system hang issue like PMIC reset flow, Modem/Peripheral
interface bus hang and DRAM access unstable.
• In charge of SOC top timing closure. Manage sequential STA and Tweaker customized fixing flow to
shorten ECO period 20%.
• Shorten top integration check tool like ERC and MTBF run time to 5% only. Co-work with Design Tools
team to develop ETM and super fine grain STA flow to shorten ECO period.

Sr. RD Engineer
• Technical working result including VBI decoding quality improvement, TV interface auto tuning,
OverDrive development and deinterlace quality improvement.
• In change of OverDrive for 3 years and co-work with LG/AUO/CMO for panel blur improvement.
Archive 6x compress rate and improve video quality for mass production. Having 4 patent in OverDrive
field.
• Plan, partition and synthesis whole TV decoder and picture quality evaluate platform by 3 Vertex V4
and 3 Vertex V5 + Vertex V6.
• Partition integrator of video quality in TV projects, synthesis and optimize partition interface and shrink
area for about 5%.
• Especially co-work with Design Tools team for in-house integration flow optimization.
