RTU (Rajasthan Technical University ) The RTU conducts RMCAAT earlier called RMCAAP for students looking to gain admission into the MCA Program. It is a state-level exam.
State-Level Examination -1. The Means only individuals who are the state of residence can take the exam.
2. Students who reside of the State are eligible to apply for RMCAAT, however for 2021, it will be replaced by NIMCET which means that admissions to admission to the MCA Program will be based on the student's NIMCET score. NIT Raipur conducts NIMCET Exam.
3. Usually RTU is the one to conduct the test, however in 2014, the Board of Technical Education, Jodhpur was conducting the exam. RMCAAT is conducted in June or May.Read more.

advised to look into those requirements and only if they meet those

They need to be Indian Citizen
Students appearing for the exam must be 20 years or above
The educational qualification of the student depends on the program selected
For First Year MCA:- 1. Mathematics subject needs to be taken in Class XII
or Graduation.
2. Students who have a UG degree of 3years
Students who belong to the General category should have a minimum of50 %
marks
And those who belong to the Reserved category should have a minimum of
45 % marks
For the Second year MCA:- The Mathematics Subject need to be taken in
Class XII or graduation.
2. Students need to have a UG degree in BCA, B.SC (I.T) or B.SC (CS)
Students who belong to the General category should have a minimum of
50 % marks
And those who belong to the Reserved category should have a minimum of
45 % marks

RTU conducts RMCAAT Exam for students who want
admissions in PG Computer Application Program. It
consists of 200 multiple choice questions in English
language and students will be given 2 hours’ time.
Students need to complete the examination in the

them. According to Boards rule and Regulation, the
exam is conducted.

5. RTU will release the Admit Card on the official website a week before the RMCAAT
Exam. students need to visit the official website, download and print their Admit card
and check if all the details present in the Admit card are correct. students can
download the admit card by entering the registration number and DOB. Admit Card is
a vital document. All the students are advised to take the Admit Card and ID proof
to the exam hall otherwise they won’t be allowed to write the exam. The Admit card
contains all the necessary details of the student and if any of the details are wrong
they must immediately inform the higher authority otherwise they might face
problems in the exam hall.
Students can select the exam center while filling the application form and most of the
time students are allotted the exam center they select. but sometimes the exam
center selected by the students might get full then the exam center will be allotted to
them based on their second preference of exam center or the authority allots them an
another Center.

6. RTU releases the RMCAAT results on the official website students can check the
result on the official website by entering the required details such as admit card
number and DOB students are advised to take a printout of the results as it will be
useful for them at the time of Counseling . the Conducting Authority decides the cut-
off marks based on the number of students attempting the exam. the cut-off is the
minimum marks a students needs to score to be qualified for admission the authority
prepares the cut-off based on many factors . The higher authority prepares the merit
list based on the marks students achieved in the exam. the criteria of selection of the
students for the MCA program is based on the rank of the students in the merit list.
Students while filing the options on the official website must select the college based
on their liking this can be changed any number of times but only for a definite period
because once the student selects the “Final lock ” option it cant be changed.
The allocation of the seats to the students is based on two factors
The marks students obtained in RMCAAT
The percentage of the marks students obtained in Graduation.
After the announcement of the result and the allocation of the seats is done students
can download the allotment letter from the website.
The students are expected to report in the Institute they have got admission within a
given time frame if he she fails to report then the seat would be considered invalid.
