ICET Eligibility
The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the
Universities concerned.
1. The candidates seeking admission in to:
a. Master of Business Administration (MBA) course should have passed a Bachelor Degree
of minimum 3-years duration.
2. b. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course should have passed
BCA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level.
2. The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL)
within the jurisdiction of University should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE
and DEC/DEB.
3. The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to
appear for TSICET-2020
4. Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
5. Qualifying marks in TSICET-2020 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST
candidates.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into
MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
i. Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-
timeeveningdistance mode).
iii. Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.
ICET Exam Pattern
Mode: The exam will be held through online /offline (written test) mode.
Type of Questions: Questions will be multiple choice type.
Medium of Exam: Paper will be available in English & Telugu/ English & Urdu for Section A
& B. Section C will be available only in English.
Duration: 150 minutes will be provided for the exam.
Sessions: The exam will be conducted in 2 sessions.

Step by step process of Telangana ICET Counselling
First of all, the candidates should log on to the TS ICET 2020 Counselling Official website
tsicet.nic.in
Complete the payment of processing fee by clicking on the “Pay Processing Fee” tab in the main
menu.
Make payment with your Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or through any other payment
gateways provided.
Now check the Certificate Verification Date for your Rank.
Attend the TS ICET Counselling and complete the process of verification of Certificates.
Click on the Candidates Registration tab and the complete process by following the given set of
instructions.
Thereafter save the details like Registration Number and Password.
Login and fill the Web Options Entry Form.
Choose your choices for the Post Graduation.
Take a print copy of Saved Web Options after the submission for the reference in future.
Documents Required for attending TS ICET MBA MCA Counselling
TSICET 2020 Hall Ticket & Rank Card.
Degree Marks Memos and Pass Certificate.
Intermediate Marks Memo.
S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo.
IX to Degree Study Certificates.
Residence Certificate (in the case where the candidate has no institutionalized education), in the
case of the non-local candidate’s residential certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10
years excluding the period of employment outside Telangana from the competent authority.
Income Certificate issued after 01.01.2015, Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate issued by competent
authority and also PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Certificate if applicable.
4. TS ICET Web Counselling Process – Exercising TS ICET Web Options
After attending the TS ICET Counselling in your allotted center, you have to exercise web
options.
For Exercising the TS ICET Web Options login into the official website tsicet.nic.in
Register using the Mobile Number.
Enter the System generated OTP to log in.
Login and complete the registration steps.
Choose the List of Colleges as per the rules.
Verify the college list and submit the details.
Process for Changing TS ICET Web Options
You may also have the choice to change the Web Option which you have already opted.
Initially, Login with your details in the tsicet.nic.in website.
Choose the Change Web Options.
Select the Option which you want to select and modify it.
Finally, submit the Options by checking carefully.
NIMET - 2020
NIMCET Eligibility
Candidates who have passed B.E or B.Tech are eligible for MCA admission.
Candidates who have passed B.Sc in Computer Science are also eligible for admission.
Candidates who have passed BCA are eligible for MCA admission. Some states offer MCA
Lateral Entry (direct 2nd-year admission) for BCA graduates.
Candidates who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible for
admission
Candidates who have passed B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ any other degree with Mathematics as one of the
subjects in Class 12th are eligible for admission in MCA course.
5. Exam Pattern
Making Scheme
Total marks of the question paper- 480 marks
Marks for every correct answer- 4 marks
Negative marking for every incorrect answer- 1 marks
Marks deducted for an unattempted question- None
Total time for exam 120 minutes
NIMCET Apply & Admission Process 2020
Admission to MCA programme is made through the entrance test and e-counselling, NIMCET.
The application process for NIMCET 2020 is online.
Aspirants need to pay a processing fee (Rs. 2,000 for OPEN/OBC and Rs. 1000 for SC/ST)
through official website only.
Fee payment to be made before submitting the final online application form for NIMCET 2020.
Aspirants are required to register on the official website of the exam with login, password and
then fill up all the details as per the online form.
6. After the application form is successfully filled, a complete NIMCET application form with a
unique application number will be generated.
Students need to quote this number for all correspondences till the exam is conducted.
Students are advised to keep two copies of the application form and e-receipt for future reference.
Aspirants should remember their login, password, security questions and answers, e-mail id
entered the application till the end of NIMCET 2020 process.
Students should take out a printout of the generated form and send the same along with the e-
receipt of the application fee payment along with all the required documents.
