Applications for the ULSAT LLM course are open. The last date of application is 28th July. ULSAT UG second phase was
held on July 17th-19th and the first phase took place on June 17th-19th.

3. It must be noted that the eligibility criteria for different law courses. Hence, it is very
important that the eligibility criteria given below must be noted. If anyone is considered
ineligible, they will be rejected admission at once.
There is no age bar for taking this test.
Eligibility for CLAT & LSAT:
Students who have a rank up to 10,000 in CLAT or an aggregate of 60% will not need to
take ULSAT to seek admission for law courses under the university. They will be given the
choice of sitting for group discussion and personal interview right away.
Educational qualification:
Applicants need at least an aggregate of 50% and above in their class 12 and class 10
results to be eligible for taking ULSAT 2021 to get admission into the law courses of the
university.
B.Sc. LLB Courses:
Students need an aggregate of 70% marks in their class 10 and class 12. An aggregate of
70% in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics is necessary.
Students with an aggregate of 85% and above in the Best of five subjects for classes 10
and 12 do not have to take ULSAT. However, English must be compulsory in the best of 5
subjects.
Post-Graduation (LLM):
Candidates need an aggregate of 50% in both class 12 and class 10. A degree in LLB from
a recognized university is important for seeking admission to LLB courses in the university.
The LLM course is for 1 year. For international students, an undergraduate degree,
equivalent to LLB is mandatory. It must be obtained from the Association of Indian
Universities (AIU). A GRE score of 1700 (Cumulative) is necessary for admission.

4. ULSAT Exam Syllabus
ULSAT 2021 will be conducted online. The exam pattern and
syllabus is prescribed by the University of Petroleum and Energy
Sciences, Dehradun. The exam will be a computer-based test
and it will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (CBT).
ULSAT 2021 will be based on 5 subjects. They are Language
Comprehension, Quantitative and Numerical Ability, Logical
Reasoning, Legal General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal
Aptitude.

5. The admit card for ULSAT will be issued online. Students who have applied for the exam
will need to take a printout of the admit card before going for the exam. The admit cards
are issued to students after checking their applications thoroughly. It is released right
after test booking. The admit card will include details such as candidate’s roll number,
name, father’s name, course applied for, test centre, time and date as per slot booking,
exam instructions etc. The candidate must carry their admit cards when appearing for
the exam. He/she will also need it during the counselling process. Hence, it must be
kept safely.

Click on the link provided for downloading admit card. Admit card will be available after
test booking
The admit card will be displayed. Candidates can download the form from here and keep
it for exam dates and counselling dates
In case, any discrepancy or error occurs, the candidate must inform the University’s
exam department at once
Please note that the admit cards may even be issued on the date of the exam before 10
am. This situation has occurred in the past. Thus, it may be kept in mind.
Please note that if any candidate fails to book an exam slot, the University will book an
exam slot for them. In that case, the student will not be permitted to change it.
The candidate must carry the admit card on the day of the exam. The admit card will be
verified at the exam centre. Failure to produce the admit card can result in the
cancellation of the exam for the student.

6. The University of Petroleum and Energy Sciences will announce the ULSAT 2021
results in the fourth week of July. The university will publish the results online mode.
The results for all the courses will be announced together. Candidates can check
their results using their registered email and password. The results will display the
score and rank achieved by the candidate in the exam.
Once the results are out, the merit list will be put up. University will decide the merit
list based on the marks of the students. Names of the candidates whose name is on
the list will sit for a group discussion and personal interview round. The group
discussion and interview round will also be conducted by the University.
The group discussion and interview will likely be around the Fourth week of July.

• The candidate must keep the scorecard safe. If his/her name is on the merit list, they can sit
for the counselling round. Admission will depend on this final round.

• A new page will open up. Here, one has to click on ‘New Registration’ and enter
details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, nationality, course etc. and click
on the ‘Next button
• This page will need academic details such as year of passing, school, marks
obtained in subjects etc. After filling in these details, upload scanned copies of recent
photograph and signature as per specifications given
• Next, proceed to pay the application fees either online or offline. After payment,
students will receive login credentials such as password and application number for
future log-in
