SCENE ONE
FADE IN:
INT. LYDIA’S BEDROOM / JACK’S BEDROOM – EVENING
Lydia and her friends in bedroom getting ready for a night out.
LYDIA
I’m so excited to actually be going out tonight,
do you think we’ll meet any boys? (Laughs)
CONNIE
Let’s hope so, you need to get over Chris and move on
from that twat!!
(Lydia and her friends all laugh and carry on getting ready)
Jack and his friends getting ready.
NICK
Anyone on the lookout for girls tonight?
JACK
I am, Nick if you find a girl that actually likes you I’ll give you a tenner?!
(Nick laughs loudly)
NICK
Okay mate, deal.

EXT. CUTS BETWEEN SHOT OF JACK AND FRIENDS WALKING DOWN THE
STREET TO LYDIA AND FRIENDS WALKING AND LAUGHING.

Shot of Jack discussing with Nick the girl he is going to get to gain money.
SCENE THREE

SCENE FOUR
INT. CLUB-TYPE SETTING

Jack and his friends playing pool.
Lydia and friends walk in the club opposite the pool table and Jack looks up at Lydia.
Lydia sees him looking at her and smile.

SCENE SIX
FADE IN:
INT. COFFEE SHOP
Lydia and Jack are in the coffee shop drinking a coffee, getting to know each other and
laughing.
SCENE SEVEN
Picture book/frame skipping through three to four images of their dates with added text of a
little description of what they did. Also added pictures of hearts.
First two still-images showing them in the coffee shop, laughing and drinking.
Another shot of them on another date at the cinema, showing the cinema screen.
SCENE EIGHT
EXT. IN A PARK, ON A BENCH
Jadyn speaks to Jack about how he doesn’t spend any time with them anymore.
JADYN
I’m happy for you and Lydia mate but, I just think you
don’t want to spend any time with us lads anymore?
JACK
I do but I really like her and we’re just getting to know each other, we
want to spend as much time together as possible?
JADYN
I get that and I like to see you happy, but we wanna see you sometimes.

SCENE NINE
INT. AT JACK’S HOUSE / DINNER DATE
Jack and Lydia are sitting at the table eating dinner when he proposes.

Oh my god Jack, YES!
Pan down from her face to another shot of her hand out, with the focus on the ring on her
finger.
SCENE TEN
INT. TWO DIFFERENT CLUBS – LYDIA’S HEN / JACK’S STAG PARTY
Lydia’s hen party showing them dancing, with Lydia wearing pink party boppers and a sash
with ‘Bride to be’ written on it.
Jack’s stag party showing them standing in a little circle happily shouting ‘last night of
freedom, let’s enjoy it mate!’

SCENE TWELVE
INT. IN A HOTEL ROOM
The night after the hen party in the hotel room Lydia is sharing with her bridesmaid Connie,
Lydia tells her she is pregnant and even though Connie is really happy for her Lydia is scared
because she thinks Jack won’t be dedicated enough to her and her child.
LYDIA
Connie, I am pregnant.
