December 12th,
1952
My first film I played an innocent bystander or
the screen for two minutes and 14 seconds.
This was in Hollywood and I loved Hollywood.
My first film, I believe I was 22 years old,
which was in the year of 1951.

14th, 1952
I began starring in movies in the 1950s such
as, “Dial M for Murder, To Catch a Thief and
the Swan.” It is hard to believe that it has been
2 years since I starred in these movies.

20th, 1952
2. My Father John Brendan “Jack” Kelly, was a
champion sculler who won three Olympic gold
medals as part of the U.S. rowing team. I was
defiantly not his favorite. He always said I
wasn’t going to go far in life, but my sister
“Peggy” was the oldest and he had big dreams
for her.
September
3rd, 1954
In the summer of 1954, Carry Grant and I were
on the French Riviera working on an Alfred
Hitch Cook movie.

10th, 1954
I won the role of Georgie Elgin in The Country
Girl opposite Bing Crosby and William Holden. I
3. did not think it was a very glamorous role for
me.
November
5th, 1955
I had four films in the theater by 1955 which is
this year. I have accomplished a lot since
1950. I stayed busy appearing in 5 films.
March 8th,
1956
I made eleven films in a career that lasted just
five years.
May 3rd,
1956
I quit my acting career to marry Prince Rainier
and became Princess Consort of Monaco.
