This document outlines Camille Cross's personal brand exploration project. It introduces her identity as a young entrepreneur who helps recording artists develop their skills and employs people to better the world. Her goals are to work in the music industry as a record label CEO and founder. The document describes her technical and transferable skills, credentials, competitors in the field, and plans to continue her professional development.
2. Identity
I am a young entrepreneur who has set out to help recording artist by
developing and cultivating their skills. I am also setting out to employee groups
of like minded people with the goal of bettering the world. I am understanding,
driven, open-minded, inspirational, and determined to not only accomplish my goals
but yours as well. I am unique because of how driven I am and what I am
motivated by. I ultimately plan to do what I can to change the world by giving
back to communities in need and starting communities actives for kids and adults
to encourage unity and togetherness.
3. Profession
I want to work in the Music Industry. Specifically as the CEO/Founder of a
Record Label.
Job Titles: Sound Engineering Technicians, Producers, CEO.
I am not afraid to take a sensible risk/leap to accomplish a goal. I take a direct
approach to task. I complete task that will go hand and hand with improve my
community.

4. Audience
It was difficult to find information on JD’s employees and the people within his
label, outside of his artist. If I’m being honest I wouldn’t want his hiring
manager to hire me I would want to be employed by JD himself. He is someone
that I would love to work for and to learn from, DIRECTLY. He was inspired
by Barry Gordy and I would love to get a first hand experience and influence
from him.
My main audience are people who grew up in Urban areas. Men around the
ages of 18-25 and woman ages 18-30. Who enjoys music that they connect with
and have been though some things in life.

My Technical Skills Are:
• Ability to use a DAR – Sound editing software. I rate myself at a 90%
proficiency level
• Ability to use Accounting software such as Intuit QuickBooks. I rate myself at
a 80% proficiency level
My Transferable Skills Are:
• Organization, My proficiency level is at about a 75%
• Leadership, My proficiency level is at 98%.

• I have a Diploma in Audio Technology
• I have training certifications. Such as Pro-tools certification and many others.
• I have a Bachler's in Music Business.

9. Competitors
Bruce Venegas of Las Vegas has experience in live sound for concerts, and
corporate/industrial events. He is proficient with studio boards and live mixing
boards. He also, fluently speaks two languages and has been apart of the
industry since 1997.

• Joy Brown is the CEO/Founder of JoyBrown Ent. Witch is located in a
neighboring city to my home town. Here she works as a producer and
brand developer. Is also works in Sales, Marketing, developing brand
strategy, public relations, and A&R.
11. Brand Positioning
I am a good person to work with because I have a good personality,
I also have a way of using authority in a descent manner that do
not offend anyone and allows the job to get done. Further more, I
have a fun nature that allows work to be enjoyable.
13. Professional Development
I believe that I can always use more experience in a wide verity of things. You
never know enough about anything.
A little more in depth I plan to continue my education in business. I need to
developed my skills in multitasking. I plan to use school, home, and my work life to
accomplish this. Also, I will continue to record, mix, and master. I want to crate a
sound that is different then what we hear today. I will need to learn more about
blending different sounds to accomplish this. I am looking into finding a mentor who
is a CEO of a company. Or one that I can shadow on occasions.
