The digipak is the standard type of digipak (standard 4 panel CD digipak for a
single disc)
The digipak promotes the artist as she is the main focus and her image is her
USP, that allows the digipak to have a very simple design i.e. Black and
white filter and a picture of the artist.
The layout is designed specifically to attract the audience with Beyonce’s
beauty, the text is serif which is more of a feminine style font due to the
edges ending with little ticks
3. Rihanna- Loud
This digipak is the simplest style (four pannels one disc)
The digipak promotes Rihanna as the main focus is her image which is the
only image, the audience will know it is her as during the release of the
album she was known for her bright red hair.
The digipak relates to her videos as in her videos she has bright red hair which
is seen on the picture.
The layout is very simple with a picture of her and then the name of the
album ‘LOUD’ spaced out evenly at the bottom of the digipak.
The text is a simple and common font, however the writing is faded which
allows the audience to be attracted in by Rihanna’s beauty
4. Gorilaz- The Singles Collection
Type of digipak: This digipak is the standard 4 panels with one disc.
The digipak promotes the group as the images seen on the digipak represent the
group, also the name of the group is in a bold red which stands out on the
black background.
The digipak relates to the videos as the cartoon artists are seen in the videos.
The style of the digipak is a collage of the artists as it is a collection of the groups
singles which relate as the images are over a time period.
The text is all different sizes i.e. The G is smaller than the Z with the title of the
album in a white, smaller and the same font. The reason the group name is
different is due to the audience being able to see a standout between the
group name and album, also the colour is used as the red is part of the Gorilaz
logo
5. JME-Integrity
Type of digipak: This digipak is a simple format with four panels and space for
one disc.
The digipak promotes the artist 100% as the cover is an image of him and only
him. This allows the layout to be very simple which is just his face and no
writing.
The digipak does not have any relation to music videos, the only real relation
is the artist in which you see his face in every video.
6. Ed Sheeran - +
Type of digipak: This digipak is another simple digipak design in
which it had four panels and room for one disc.
This digipak promotes the artist as his face is the main focus
similar to JME- Integrity.
The digipak has no relation to any music videos as there is not
much to the digipak.
The layout is the artists face with an orange filter making this
digipak very plain and simple
The only text on this digipak is a ‘+’ which is the name of the
album
