2. Rihanna - LoudRihanna - Loud
This four sided digipack has the main purpose of
promoting the artist, Rihanna.
It simply promotes her as she is main focus point of the
entire digipack, as her face fills the entire front and back
cover.
The reason why she has done this is because her image is
her main USP with her looks and red hair which will be
shown in her music videos
The digipack has a very light blue filter over the images to
make the digipack look more appealing and interesting.
The typography is san serif with a thin outline to keep this
form elegancy to the cover, and so her looks are till the
main focus point of the cover.
3. David Guetta β One LoveDavid Guetta β One Love
This two panel digipack focus on mainly on the name
of the album and the image of the artist. The image of
the artist takes three quarters of the front cover but in
a monochrome filter.
The reason why the front cover has monochrome is so
the name of the album stands out with the use of the
vibrant pink colour.
The disc and back cover have the name of the album
stand out by using that one colour.
The name of the album is in a graffiti style font
whereas the name of the artist is in bold san serif font.
Unlike Rihanna's digipack this one focuses more on the
album than the artist themselves.
4. Gorillaz β Demon DaysGorillaz β Demon Days
This five panel digipack uses a range of animated
characters to symbolise and promote the band.
One each panel there is the animated character
which gives the audience something to look at.
The characters will be used in their music videos to
relate with.
This simply layout works with the blank white
background and characters because its not too
over crowed with graphics.
The disc is in the centre panel which shows itβs the
main focus point. As it is in black it catches the eye.
The typography is san serif with a bold effect.
5. Ed SheeranEd Sheeran
This is a very simple 2 panel digipack. It used
one image and only one three colours.
The front cover focuses on the promotion of
the artist as the image of his face uses the
entire front cover.
The colour orange is used because it must link
and relate within his music videos and poster.
This makes it easier for the audience to notice
the link between the music videos and
digipack/posters.
The disc is entirely blank with a orange cross
which links to the front cover.
6. Ellie Goulding β LightsEllie Goulding β Lights
This 4 panel digipack focuses on the promotion of the
artist and the meaning of the album with the use of
images and graphics.

stands out a lot more with also the use of a black
background.
The same use in the inside image of the digipack.
The typography has an effected of an under-glow where
it makes it seem there is lights behind the text. This links to
