Re: Calvin Tchatchoua
To Whom it May Concern:
Calvin Tchatchoua is known to me through the professional association of the American College
of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Through the ACHE I was able to provide a volunteer work
opportunity for him. This was done at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago which I serve
as the Administrator. Shriners Hospital is a specialty hospital serving children with orthopaedic,
cleft lip & palate, rehabilitation services and other specialized care.
During Calvin’s time here one day per week for several months he was directly involved in
business development opportunities. These opportunities include expansion of rehabilitation
services and adding additional medical staff. Data gathering and analysis was performed by
Calvin to provide justification for adding new services. This included the gathering of data from
numerous sources and applying it to appropriate coding and revenue sources. Calvin worked
diligently and effectively on these projects during his time here. The data was used as part of a
business plan which was subsequently approved.
Calvin demonstrated a consistently strong work ethic and attention to detail. He interacted with
staff on a professional and affable manner while attending to the responsibilities delegated to
him. He showed resourcefulness in researching data sources to ensure good solid information
was being presented.
The time spent at Shriners Hospital was beneficial to the projects he worked on and to the
organization as a whole. I highly recommend Calvin for a management position in healthcare as
he would be an asset and good strong team member.
