2. What to remember
In the head of a girl with schizophrenia, not
being able to tell fantasy from reality (hearing
voices, sudden mood changes etc). At the
beginning, the main character is getting ready
for a party- it seems normal, but she’s been
preparing for this and knows that everyone
will pay for how they have treater her, or how
Hinting of her unstable mentality,
preparing to kill in a creepy way-
as if it’s not a big deal.

5. She hints throughout the
introduction what her plan is.
She goes to the party with a
gun and kills one, creating fear
among the rest. She locks the
doors, cuts the phonelines and
has a knife. They don’t know
who’s do
They all get texts which
determine whether they live or
die. She plays games with
them- blackmailing them into
6. Target audience
• Our film is aimed towards a
teenage audience and above as
they will be able to relate to the
characters in the film, so may
empathise with them more.
• it is also aimed at people older
than teens, who may be possibly
parents. This means that they
could imagine the teens as their
children, which makes it all the
more scary, which is what we
want.
• It is targeted at a wide range of
people, as it involves both boys
and girls. It also could scare
anyone, as schizophrenia is
something that real life people
deal with, so they would worry
that this could actually happen to
them in real life.
7. Setting
• We chose a shadowed setting in a normal house, so it goes with the
normal conventions of horror, but is in a more isolated space, which
makes it seem like it would be hard for them to get out
• We chose a normal house because it would make the audience feel
like it could happen to them, as it would be similar to their living
situation.
• The flashing lights of the party heighten the tension, as it ensures that
it will be more chaotic and the characters more confused and scared,
making the audience feel the same.
8. What will we struggle with
• We will struggle with the low lighting and making it still good quality.
To deal with this we will use additional lighting, which will brighten
the room, but also cast the shadows where we want.
• We will also struggle with the large mass of cast. We will only use
people who are known and trusted actors and have had a full brief of
what they have to do.
