A highly experienced Civil Superintendent (Craft) and Wisconsin Carpenter’s Union
member with more than 16 years of experience managing and leading multiple
construction projects using numerous construction methods. Experience includes

Civil Superintendent
Assigned to Turkey Point Nuclear Plant. Managed the Total Plant Cooling Water
(TPCW), ISO Phase and Turbine Deck as well as all of the pumping stations and the
mechanical plumbing. Managed site safety, craft, subcontractors, and construction
schedule for the Extended Power Upgrade (EPU). Approved design changes and
ensured that correct work orders were executed on time and within budget and
environmental compliance. Managed a crew of 60 carpenters and provided backup
support to the field construction manager. Adverted potential safety hazard.
Discovered that the team that was working on the scaffolding construction had the
wrong work orders. Retrieved correct work orders, conducted a new Job Safety
Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and supervised the completion of the
job without incident. Created a system to handle the high volume of work orders
and a work order method to accommodate multiple requests which allowed the
completion of JSA/JHAs at one time. Cut administrative costs and man hours while
managing 1500+ requests. Security clearance was required for this assignment.

Bechtel 10/10 to 12/11
Foreman
Assigned to Point Beach Nuclear Plant. Served as the journeyman carpenter and
quickly elevated to foreman to oversee the trades for the EPU. Directed scaffolding,
concrete, radiation protection, dry wall and finishing projects. Led a crew of 110.
Training classes and DOE security clearance was required for this position.
Norcon Corporation 05/05 to 10/10
Superintendent
Served as a working Superintendent/Project Manager that traveled to various sites
with tools and equipment to perform, direct and manage a variety of different
projects. Secured project from theft and weather damage. Hired and directed
crews of up to 50 which included electricians, plumbers, HVAC and landscapers while
meeting budget and timeline requirements. Maintained budget, permits,
subcontractor compliance, daily/weekly reports, timecards, material
orders/purchases, project startup/turnover meetings and met with inspectors.
Projects Included:
U.S. Border Station in International Falls, MN
• Responsible for the exterior renovation. Security clearance required for this
assignment. Secured additional work through contract review. GSA contract to
remodel border station. Work required dismantling and replacing all security
cameras, which was not covered under the contract. Created estimates of
additional scope of work and secured GSA approval. Added additional
revenue to contract completion. Crossed the Canadian border for
materials/tools.
Red Granite Correctional Institution in Red Granite, WI
• Progressively executed and completed remodeling in compliance with ADA
stipulations. Federal Security clearance required for this assignment.
University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI
• Designed and built various walking platforms to state specifications. Also
performed extensive steam tunnel repair (Spawling), ceiling replacement and
concrete structural replacement.
Weston Village Aquatic Center in Schofield, WI
• Expansion, joint repair and Stay Brite repair, Hydro Restoration.
Lake Sherburne Dam in Babb, Montana
• GSA, Department of Interior Dam and Reservoir Renovation. Blackfoot Indian
Reservation. Demolition relined flow tubes. During demolition of 300 foot
flow tubes under Lake Sherburne reservoir, there was insufficient air flow with
use of gas operated saws. Crew was forced to come up to surface frequently

for air, impacting schedule and QC (quality control). Purchased natural gas
machine which alleviated the air quality concerns and meeting deadlines.

• Historic restoration and renovation. FBI Security Clearance required with
ability to work in all federal buildings including Judge's Chambers and FBI
buildings.

• Constructed water cooling tower platform. GSA security clearance required for
this assignment.
