  2. 2. Summary <ul><li>My professional expertise are in residential construction, although my latest experience has been involved in commercial construction activities. With my experiences, I have developed skills in leadership, organization, budget management, customer relationships, and supervision. If I had to choose my greatest strength, it would be developing customer relationships. It is challenging to meet customers, go through a high investment process with ups and downs, and end up with a positive result. I feel that these challenges have been successful with the honors that I have received. </li></ul><ul><li>Along with customer relationships, I have learned and feel that building relationships within the business environment is one of the most important things to succeed. This includes co-workers, other company departments, and lastly trade partners. Without this help and a team support, you will only accomplish so much. I was able to build these lasting relationships which led to my promotions throughout my career. </li></ul><ul><li>I would like to take you through an overview of my career.   4. 4. Commercial Experience <ul><li>My latest position was a project superintendent for Modern Drywall where I managed one or more construction projects. I maintained daily documentation for scheduling, quality control, and budget purposes. As a result of the documentation, I reported progress to the owners in weekly meetings which detailed financial budgets, change orders, and additional issues with customers or general contractors. Next are brief overviews of projects that were assigned to me. </li></ul>

The addition consisted of three 10 unit wings with a kitchen, dining rooms, game room, and public restrooms. The existing renovation consisted of 4 wings, kitchen, dining rooms, mechanical rooms, activities room, walk in cooler, and other miscellaneous rooms. </li></ul>

Experiences <ul><li>I joined Pulte Homes by obtaining a summer internship in 1995, where I received an offer to work full time upon graduation from Purdue University Building Construction and Contracting program. I accepted the offer and started working in 1996 where I started my career as a customer relations manager. Through hard work and dedication I was promoted to a superintendent, general superintendent, and lastly a project manager. I have learned the importance of ongoing training, problem solving, and most importantly doing the right thing despite the consequences. Next are overviews of positions and accomplishments that I was involved with. </li></ul>

Customer Relations Manager <ul><li>I operated all warranty and customer relation issues within a subdivision by performing customer orientations, scheduling and completing service appointments. I also addressed all service call-ins, emergencies, and confirmed survey results by meeting set expectations. </li></ul>

  27. 30. General Superintendent <ul><li>Assisted project manager by overseeing the daily field operations of staff and sub contractors on a construction site. Reviewed construction schedules daily with superintendents and customer relations to ensure daily production. </li></ul>

Accomplishments <ul><li>Position Held: 2003-2006 </li></ul><ul><li>Training: Foundations of Management </li></ul><ul><li>Chosen to be 2004 Michigan Division Superintendent of the year by top management </li></ul><ul><li>Managed a customer relations department and was part of the highest long term satisfaction award with 92% </li></ul><ul><li>Elected best practices award by the division trainer by implementing company initiatives and maintaining quality standards </li></ul><ul><li>Assigned to research and develop a management program to reduce costs associated with concrete failure, which has led to reductions in warranty replacement and production loss </li></ul>

Maintained documentation process required by OSHA and National Storm Water Program by conducting monthly area meetings with subcontractors and updating weekly required forms for record keeping. </li></ul>
