Qualifications more, as well as managing crews of up to 20 people. With my degree in communications I
have a comprehensive understanding of communicating with employees, contractors and
management. I possess excellent managerial skills and have fourteen years experience, in
varying degrees with multiple companies. I have proven experience of being a dedicated and
self-motivating worker that is not satisfied unless I know that I have given my all in everything
that I do.
Professional 2011 – Present Area Shift Supervisor/ TAR Supervisor
Experience As a shift supervisor I hold direct responsibility over the daily operations, safety and
environmental compliance, and maintenance preparation of my team. I lead a core crew of six
individuals daily, with as many as 18 crew members during a turnaround. The shift supervisor
role demands excellent communication skills, organization, troubleshooting, and process
knowledge. I have worked rotating shifts, as well as a variety of different shift schedules. I
have also taken on many additional projects while in this role to help further myself
professionally.
2007 – 2011 BP Husky Refining Hourly Leader/ Operator – Most recently I have been
responsible for planning the 2012 TIU TAR for FCC 1, FCC 2 and the NOGO areas.
Responsible for the safe, reliable operations of the process unit; ensuring environmental
compliance; trouble shoot and monitor multiple pieces of equipment; direct both TAR and
running maintenance activities.
Leak Detection and Repair Coordinator/ Environmental Technician 2 – Responsible for
ensuring compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations. Including, but not
limited to: air, water and waste. Directly responsible for all LDAR activities on site; including a
crew of up to 20 technicians, a database of 54,318 components, and answering all
environmental questions from the 2,000+ people on site.
2003 – 2007 IPR/EMS Oregon, OH
Site Supervisor – Responsible for the daily operations of the IPR/EMS crew and all associated
monitoring and documenting projects. I have a comprehensive knowledge of all federal and
state regulations that apply to the refinery. Must be a self-managing, motivated and
responsible person with little to no supervision required.
