4. Evaluation
• There are obviously a lot of things I would have
changed if given the chance regarding my preliminary
task.
• My lack of technical ability with the software
(Photoshop and InDesign) prevented me from creating
a front cover and contents page that one would expect
to see published. Therefore I now know I need to
spend some time practising using the software so
when it comes to my actual production I can
confidently produce a realistic music magazine.
• I think I got the main elements in though (inspired by
my research) and it was useful in helping me develop
the necessary skills required to design and create my
final piece.
