2. Basic concept
IoT (Internet of Things) systems are used to acquire and transmit real-time world data.
(The data can also come from simulation software if real world data is not a prerequisite)
One or more people can use an AR (Augmented Reality) system or a VR (Virtual Reality)
system – or even a Mixed Reality system (AR+VR) to see and interact with easy to use
visual interpretations of the data.
A server in the middle can be used to centralize the data and optimize data flow.
It will also enable you to keep the data for future use. Think of Big Data and AI (Artificial Intelligence)
4. This information comes from Bogdan
Bogdan Deaky is an
assist. prof. at Transylvania University of Brasov, Romania
and CEO of Bluemind Software.
Bogdan has great expertise in IoT and AR/VR
and software development in general.
This expertise has been obtained through research activities
and the actual creation of software and hardware solutions.
He comes with a team of talented and smart young people.
5. This information comes from Bogdan
He has been awarded a certificate of appreciation for
outstanding contributions to the development of the
IEEE Standard 1876 which regulates IoT transactions
(for online laboratories). The whole working group
received an additional award.
He is known for developing the first mobile application
for MIT’s ILab Shared Architecture online laboratories
(it required compliant and agreed hacking).
6. Actual system development
You have received other documents along with this presentation:
- own scientific articles and a book chapter regarding embedded / IoT system
development.
- own scientific articles regarding the usage of simulations (in AnyLogic) and VSM.
- own scientific articles and presentations regarding 3D, VR and AR system development.
These are included in order for you to see the extent of the existing expertize and evaluate
how it can be used to fulfil your existing needs.
