5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images
styles/fonts/tone/mood
• From some of the images that are black and white, you can easily tell this story takes place in a much older version of
history, with much more dark and grittier tone.
• The pictures that have people in them, they can be seen ready for action and won’t have a moments hesitation, these tell
us the detectives in my story are ready to get the job done and close the case for good.
• The images of buildings tell us that the main characters will be traveling to a lot of places in order to get more clues or
there maybe some shady work going on.
• From repeated images and props, you easily get an image of what the detectives will look like and the kind of mood the
audio story will go for.
• The images also set the genre of story well, from the style of their outfits to era of their technology, it sets the tone and
the scene of the 1940s.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• The images of the feather and the magnifying glass tells us that these detectives will have the own kind of personas that
will set them apart from each other, so you will get a good perspective of how the detectives will act and speak.
• Some images suggest that the story could involve some form of espionage that could the listener intrigued and
entertained.
• One image could tell us that within the Chicago police force that there maybe a crooked cop that our detectives may not
know about.
• The image of the car could maybe give the listeners a good chase scene to keep the people hooked and anticipating
what's going to happen next.

Type of
products you
would make
• A podcast
• A logo design
• YouTube audio file
What you will
need to make
them
The resources I will need consist of YouTube account, Adobe Photoshop, Google
search and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Audience My products will be aimed at women aged 45 – 64 years, who fit the needs driven psychographic and are
upper middle class, to accomplish this I will play to the anxieties that connect the female readers for
metaphorical resonances, I will make sure to keep the contents interesting as to not lose the people interest by
adding in suspenseful, clever and humorous scenes while keep to the same style of the 1940s noir.
7. Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this
project
Interactive Game • The process could take too long to be complete,
from the numerous assets, background designs and
the necessary sound effects and sound track.
• I wasn’t very experienced in making a pixel art
game, so my confidences in making a complete
game wouldn’t be very high.
Gaming Magazine • Because I had previously made an indie horror
magazine I was interested in, if I were to make it
again my interest wouldn’t really be into it and just
feel like I would be repeating myself with nothing
creatively new to it.
