Mental health includes our
- Emotional
- psychological and
- social well-being.
It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine
how we handle stress, relate to others and make choices.
Mental health is important at every stage of life.
Good mental health is characterized by a person's ability
to fulfill a number of key functions and activities. It includes
* the ability to learn.
* the ability to feel,
* express and manage a range of positive and
negative emotions.
* maintain good relationships with others.
5. EXAM ANXIETY CAN WRECK HAVOC WITH YOUR HEALTH. IT CAN
HINDER YOUR STUDY CONCENTRATION AND RUIN YOUR SLEEP.
BUT WITH THE RIGHT TIPS TO BOOST EXAM STRESS AND
ANXIETY, YOUR NEET EXAM PREPARATION CAN BECOME MUCH
EASIER
ANXIETY USUALLY MANIFESTS ITSELF ON THREE LEVELS:
- PHYSIOLOGICAL
- COGNITIVE
- MOTOR
THE SYMPTOMS OF ANXIETY ARE:
1. PHYSIOLOGICAL LEVEL : BODY TENSION. FOR EXAMPLE,
DIGESTIVE DISCOMFORT, INSOMNIA, SWEATING, MUSCLE ACHES
MAY OCCUR.
2. COGNITIVE LEVEL:
IN ANTICIPATION OF POOR TEST PERFORMANCE,
BELIEFS OF LOW SELF-ESTEEM OR CONCENTRATION
PROBLEMS MAY OCCUR.
3. MOTOR LEVEL: SIGNS SUCH AS HYPERACTIVITY,
FEEDING PROBLEMS THAT VARY FROM NOT EATING ANYTHING
TO EXCESSIVE INTAKE, CRYING AND AVOIDANCE AND ESCAPE
BEHAVIOURS FROM THE EXAM .SITUATION.

Tips to minimize exam stress and test anxiety
So what exactly can you do to prevent or minimise test anxiety? Here are
some strategies:
1. Make sure you're prepared: This means studying for the test early until
you feel comfortable with the material. Don't wait till the night before. If you
aren't sure how to study, ask your teacher or parent for help. Being prepared
will boost your confidence, which will lessen your test anxiety.
2. Banish negative thoughts: If you start to have anxious or defeated
thoughts, such as "I'm not good enough,""I didn't study hard enough," or "I
can't do this," push those thoughts away and replace them with positive
thoughts. "I can do this,""I know the material," and "I studied hard. This can
go far in helping manage your stress level when taking a test.
3. Get enough sleep: A good night's sleep will help your concentration and
memory.
4. Take deep breaths: If you start to feel anxious while you're taking your
test, breathe in deeply through your nose and out through your mouth. Work
through each question or problem one at a time, taking a deep breath in
between each one as needed. Making sure you are giving your lungs plenty
of oxygen can help your focus and lend a sense of calm.
8. 5. Avoid the perfectionist trap: Don't expect to be perfect. We all make
mistakes and that's okay. Knowing you've done your best and worked
hard is really all that matters, not perfection.
6. Surround yourself with positive people; Who you spend your
time with matters a lot, so try to stay away from opinionated and
negative people; their words should not bother you. Forget about
others, you are you and that’s what is important.
7. Practice as per the clock: Watch your pace during exams, go first
for what’s important and you know well. This way you can save a lot of
time, investing it wisely on important questions, and increasing
productivity.
8. Don’t be distracted: Avoid using social media (Facebook,
Instagram, Snapchat etc). You may not realise it, but they will consume
a lot of your time and productivity.
9. Don’t multitask: It can be bad for health, it increases your heart
rate, blood pressure and causes stress. Multitasking may seem like
you are being efficient, but it actually reduces the quality of your work.
Focus on one thing at a time.
10. Eat or drink dark chocolate: They actually work as good stress
relievers as they help release dopamine, the pleasure hormone in your
body

14. BIOLOGIST PUZZLE
VIRUS ( Poison / Venom )<----- IWANOSKY --- VIROLOGY -> Stanley
Virus is acellular, ultramicroscopic, obligate parasite organism present in between non living and
living organism , host specific , exception to cell theory.
It bears two theories
a. Molecular theory
It explains Virus is non living because
- It moves just like molecules outside the host, Can be crystallized, No enzyme system
No protoplasm
b. Living theory
It explains Virus is Living because it can multiply inside the host.
Chemical composition of VIRUS :
1. Virus is made up with Protein and Nucleic Acid.
2. Viral protein is known as Capsid and it is made up with Capsomere
3. Nucleic Acid is two types i.e DNA & RNA , But Virus carries either DNA Or RNA, never
carries both.
4. Mostly Plant Virus carries RNA ( RIBOVIRA) and Animal Virus Carries DNA (DEOXYVIRA)
But Retrovirus ( cancer causing Virus carries RNA) , Corona virus (carries RNA )
According to Holmes , Virus is classified in to three groups
A. Phaginae B. Phytophaginae C. Zoophaginae
Smallest Plant Virus: Tobacco Necrosis Virus
Largest Plant Virus : Citrus Treistiza Virus
Smallest Animal Virus : Foot & Mouth Virus
Largest Animal Virus : Small Pox Virus

36. QUESTION LEVEL IN NEET-2019
Would the NEET 2020 BIOLOGY be difficult?
Yes, As per opinion from different experts suggest
that the difficulty level of NEET 2020 will be raised
owing to the scrapping of both AIIMS MBBS and
JIPMER MBBS. NEET is now the only entrance
examination for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses
in India, thus NTA will ensure the examination is at
par with the examinations that were replaced by it.
You have to concentrate more on
Developmental biology.
