5. Skill of Introducing lesson.
Success of teaching depends on its introduction. The
attention of the students towards learning the
matter starts with the introduction of the lesson. In
any subject the new knowledge may be properly
linked with the existing knowledge related to the
present content and the teacher has to proceed from
known to unknown.
Components:
Securing Attention.
Assessing Motivational Level.
Linking with Past or Previous Learning Experience.
Specifying the points to be taken up for teaching.
