Subject: Highlightingthe problem of drinking water
in our locality.
Dear Sir/ Madam.
It is to bring to your notice that our localityhas been
suffering the problem of acute water shortage for last
5 months. Watersupply has been extremely poor on
day-to-day basis making our lives miserable. The taps
remain dry most of the time.
The supply is made only for two hours in the morning
and one hour in the evening. Besides this, the water is
muddy and polluted. Many residents fall sick. There
are complaintsof jaundiceand lose motions after
drinking this water.
In this connection, we have complainedto the local
authoritiesbut in vain. I, therefore, request the higher
authoritiesto look into this matter and take necessary
actionimmediately.
