Personal Growth wants to help college students build healthy lifestyle
habits with an iOS application that encourages and gamifies the formation
of positive lifestyle habits such as drinking water, better sleep, and working
out.
2. Hanna

Hanna is a sophomore at the University of
Michigan who plays video games. She
likes to play individually and with friends
where possible. Specifically, Hanna loves
mobile games such as “Words With
Friends” because she likes to challenge
and compete against her friends when
she gets a few minutes between classes.
Over quarantine, Hanna developed some
bad habits because she had more time to
play video games. As a result, she is
constantly tired from lack of sleep.
3. Key Problem and Motivation
Key Problem:
● Struggles keeping up with her goals
● Tracking apps not engaging enough
● Not able to challenge friends on their goals
Motivation:
● Healthier lifestyle
● Wants reminders
● Loves competing with friends

6. Use Case
As Hanna,
I want to conveniently set and track the progress for
goals I set for myself while competing with friends, so
that I can sleep better and be motivated to stay on
track.
11. Hypothesis That we Are Testing
Hanna will be more successful in repairing her
unhealthy habits if she had the option to engage
with a gamified app where she can compete with her
friends, despite each friend having different goals.
