The document discusses what was learned about technologies from constructing a product. It describes learning to use Photoshop's history brush tool to blend color and black and white images. It also discusses learning how to export InDesign files to PDF and how to embed videos on a blog by uploading to YouTube and embedding the code. Guidelines and rulers in InDesign helped make the product look realistic by neatly adding content. File conversions were also learned to fix incompatible video files lacking sound.
1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? When I first began the course I was really an amateur at editing images in Photoshop to give them a more professional quality finish by using different effects and enhancements. The most interesting I learnt using Photoshop was how to use the “history tool brush” which allowed me to have a blend of colour and black and white in images. I made my magazine using “INDESIGN”.I learned how to export an Indesign file into a pdf. By doing so the files become more easy to open and i can turn and Indesign file into an image simply by exporting it.
2. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? I have also learnt from using Indesign how to make my product look as realistic as possible, by using guidelines and rulers to help me add my content clearly and neatly. I also learned that when there is no sound coming from a video it is due to a lack of file compatibility, which there meant I had to convert my video that I took on my phone in to the right file extension in order for the sound to work. how to put up videos on to my blog. I did this by uploading it on YOUTUBE then embedding on to my blog.
