4. Spinning: Spinning is the process where fibers are
converted into yarn.
Fiber: A unit of matter characterized by flexibility,
fineness, sufficient strength, elasticity and a high length
to width ratio.
Yarn: A grouping of fibers twisted together to form a
continuous strand.

6. Ring Frame
Ring frame is an essential machine of spinning section. The Ring
spinning is the final operation in the formation of the ring spun
yarn .In this process the roving are drafted ,twisted & finally we get
yarn .

I. To draft the roving fed to the ring frame.
III. To insert sufficient amount of twist to the yarn.
IV. To attenuate the roving until the required fineness of
the yarn is achieved .
V. To wind the yarn into the bobbin.

10. Operatrion In Ring Frame
Creeling : Roving bobbin is fitted on to the top of the machine on the creel on the both side
of the machine
Drafting : Drafting operation reduces the weight per unit length of roving.

11. Operation In Ring Frame
Twisting : Spiral turns are inserted along the fiber axis . It increases yarn strength.
Winding : After twisting the yarn would on a suitable package layers of yarn , they are wound properly one
above another on the package . It should be suitable for unwinding .

12. Operation In Ring Frame
Building : For proper size and shape of the package the bobbins are lifted gradually
Doffing : After required length of yarns is wound on the package , the machine stopped

13. Advantages Of Ring Spinning Process

5. The high speed of the traveler damages the fibers.
6. Smaller yarn packages cause more knots, hence inferior yarn qualities.

There is a huge importance in ring frame .Though the ring
spinning technique has some disadvantages their
advantages , overall the
disadvantages And hence these machines are widely
used in the textile industry.The continuous Research
and development have helped to lessen Or eliminate
the drawbacks.
