1. SENIOR SUPPLIER QUALITY/DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
(MES India sourcing Pvt Ltd Pune) 1st

(MES Inc. is a Global supply chain management company; with head office in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A. MES
Inc. has its sourcing teams in India, China, Vietnam and Australia. MES Inc. has started in the year 1999 in
U.S.A.).
 Responsible for all Quality Management activities in the automotive department, including
documentation and systems improvement at supplier’s locations.
 Co-ordinate with U.S. customers for development activities and quality issues.
 Suppliers Selection, Evaluation and Approval. Process index audits, ensuring investigations and
corrective actions on field failures.
 Analyze suppliers/sub-suppliers capacities.
 Drive improvements and conduct quality training at supplier place, when necessary, to meet the
customer requirements.
 Final inspection of parts and ensuring implementation of the quality planning at suppliers.
 Understanding the customer requirements, specifications and co-ordinate with suppliers.
 Ensure practice of APQP and assure timely execution of project.

 Quality issue analysis, investigate the root cause and suggest corrective - preventive action to the
suppliers.
 Data analysis, generation and maintenance of supplier performance report.

 Supplier process audit - make a program in coordination with suppliers.
 Ensure that the potential supplier RFQ is in-line with required quality level during supplier selection.
 Conduct meeting with the suppliers, review PPM level and improvement in quality.
2. SUPPLIER QUALITY/DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
(Sawalka Tools & Machines Pvt. Ltd., Pune) 22 Jan 2011 to 28 April 2014
(Sawalka is manufacturer of suspensions components for commercial vehicles in India, U.K., and others.
Major Customers include Tata Motors Ltd, Ashok Leyland, Man force, Force motors, J.C.B, Vehicle Factory,
Taco Hendrickson).
 Responsible for all Quality Management activities in the automotive department, including
documentation and system improvement.
 Solved problems in manufacturing methods by utilizing seven tools of quality and additional
statistical methodologies.
 Perform final inspection and testing to ensure product components as per customer requirements.
 Root cause analysis for complex quality issues in development of various components.
 Conducted internal and external audits.
 Developed an additional testing phase which increased efficiency and decreased PPM.
 Established new-product PFMEA along with initial control plans in assembly line and achieved
production goals.

machining. Co-ordinated with suppliers, design teams, procurement and engineering team for
design change approval.
