7. What is Web 2.0
The Evolution of the internet has been a wonderful ride that’s
only just begun, ever since the introduction to things like,
Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Hotmail, MySpace etc.
The internet was changed forever. That is basically what web
2.0 is, a term that marks the evolution of the Internet. Web
1.0 was frankly not very exciting. Though at the time seemed
like a huge milestone is nothing compared to today. Web 1.0
was basically “a read only site” According to Berners- Lee.
Where people were only allowed to search and read
information. But today (web 2.0) people aren't just allowed to
read Google’s 50 Billion Plus pages, you are now allowed to
make your own, how else would you be reading this? And it’s
not just making your own pages; web 2.0 also allows you to
communicate in an easier and more efficient way. Through
things like Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Instagram you are able
to communicate with others through chats, posts, pictures,
videos, and Skype now allows you to have face to face
interactions with someone who could be half way across the
world. The Internet truly does make the world a smaller place.

9. How has web 2.0 developed
in today's society?
Compared to web 1.0 there has been a huge
change on the internet, from only 45 million users
and only 6% of them were user generated content
in 1996 but in 2006 with over 1 billion users now
30% is user generated content. Today, we’ve seen
a lot of increase of social networking sites. But
again that’s practically what web 2.0 is. Like when
Skype introduced video chatting, YouTube
introduced video sharing, Facebook introduced
chatting, and Instagram introduced Picture
sharing. The list goes on forever in fact there are
many, many social networking sites that we don’t
even know exist! Most developments in Web 2.0
are in social networking trying to make them more
10. What Kind of People Use WEB
2.0
Web 2.0 is used by almost everyone of both
genders, of all ages.
Adults would use it for job searching,
advertising connecting with friends and family,
and even bill payments!
Most teenagers would use it for online gaming,
social networking and school work
and also one that I'm not entirely sure is web
2.0 but is user generated and is apps. today
almost everyone uses apps from babies to the
elderly

12. What are the benefits / advantages
of using the elements that WEB 2.0
Unlike web 1.0 people weren't allowed to access and edit pages
and articles. but now anyone can easily create and edit pages. this
is an advantage because depending on what you upload to the
internet in this case informative pages allow us to learn. cause if
only few people were allowed to create pages on the internet
it would be a very small place with not much information.
This also helps me and practically everyone with school work!
but by school work I don't just mean informative pages. Web 2.0
allows me to communicate easier. Like when I have group projects
or need help with homework, instead of having to go to your friends
house you can just as easily discuss it over Skype or Facebook.
Web 2.0 also lets us know what’s going on around thee world. If we
didn't have Web 2.0 technologies news channels
probably wouldn't exist and we wouldn't know what’s happening
around the world. if something happened half way around the world
it would take ages to get to you.

14. What Are The Disadvantages WEB 2.0
Covers.
Web 2.0, does have disadvantages. in web 1.0
the internet was mostly unhackable. but ever
since websites were accessible by us they
have become more unsafe and can now easily
be hacked. Hackers target online accounts
with money in them that can easily be taken
and spent. another small disadvantage would
be not every piece of information is reliable on
the internet since it could have been written by
anyone. this isn't such a big disadvantage if
you know how to check and insure your
15. Which Elements of WEB 2.0 Suits
Your Need As a Student
As a student the most useful element has to
be Google it's the worlds most known with over 1
trillion pages and over 1 Billion page searches
each day! Google is by far the greatest
element. Google helps us find information at the
blink of an eye rather than having to go to a library
to search from limited information. Google
provides us with that information almost instantly!
the element after Google will have to be social
networking sites, in this case, Facebook. It's very
helpful to me because its easier to communicate
with friends, if you're stuck on some homework
you could ask one of your friends to help you or if
you're working on a project with some one or
even multiple people you could always have
group chats or Video calls on Facebook and
