Communication skills are the abilities you use when giving and receiving
different kinds of information. Some examples include communicating
new ideas, feelings or even an update on your project. Communication
skills involve listening, speaking, observing and empathising.
4. The Importance of Communication Skills
Good communication skills are essential to allow others and
yourself to understand information more accurately and quickly.
In contrast, poor communication skills lead to frequent
misunderstandings and frustration
5. ELEMENTS OF COMMUNICATION CYCLE
Communication involve a two way exchange of information ie giving
and reviving of information . Speaking and writing are modus of giving
information and listening and reading are modus of receiving
information .
7. SENDER
Sender means the a written message the person who introduce or send
the message is known as sender.
For example : whatsApp, twitter, Facebook, Instagram
8. RECEIVER
It might be a person or a group of people who read, listen or observe
of the message.
9. FEEDBACK
When a receiver communicates his/her response back to the sender the
process is known as feedback

11. VERBAL COMMUNICATION
Verbal communication is about language, both written and spoken. In
general, verbal communication refers to our use of words while
nonverbal communication refers to communication that occurs
through means other than words, such as body language, gestures,
and silence
12. Non verbal communication
Nonverbal communication is the transmission of messages or signals
through a nonverbal platform such as eye contact, facial expressions,
gestures, posture, and body language. It includes the use of social
cues, kinesics, distance and physical environments/appearance, of
voice and of touch.
