Upscale presents the first and only “College Town” project in the Middle East,
Nabta Town, situating world-class academic & research institutions at the center
of its integrated communities.
Nabta University, will offer 10 programs, all of which are affiliated with the top
international universities in their respective fields: Engineering, Biotechnology,
Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Applied Medical Science, Business and
Economics, Mass Media, Foreign languages and Linguistics, in addition to
Maritime and Logistics Management.
The new college town will also include schools and training centers to elevate the
quality of education and offer hands on learning experience.

Project shall be supplied with a storm water
network to collect the rain water from
building roofs and roads to be reused after
treatment. The calculated area of building
roofs and roads presents about 55% of

Main results of Nabta Town energy assessment
To obtain a NZED with low energy export 6.7 MW of PV and 3.6 MW of wind should be
adopted. The PV distributions on building roofs associated is 25% of residential buildings, 34%
of office buildings and 58% of educational buildings. Interesting to notice is that the roof of the
buildings should not be fully covered by PV.
