5. OPEN IMAGES
From the Menu, select: File → Open
When we click ‘’open’’ in the menu , select: File,
this will appear on the screen
6. This is the result of opening a picture in a file
NOTE:
The first picture that we need to merge is the tourist spot
image. And then, we need to open as layers so that we can
merge the another picture.
OPEN AS Layers…..
From the Menu, select: File → Open as Layers...
7. When we click “ Open as Layers”, this is the dialog box will
appear on the screen so that we can use the another picture to
be merge.
The two image are been in one place.
8. Add Layer Mask
From the Layers window, select the second image and Add
Layer Mask. There is a dialog box will appear.
Hit Add

Choose white to initialize the mask. White
corresponds to opaque. Now you get this in
the layers box:
10. Blend images
From the Toolbox window, select the Blend Tool
Make a gradient from right to left, starting from the edge of the
image and stopping in the middle of it, to maintain a visible part.
And then, click “ENTER”.
11. Merge the layers
In the layers window click on "Merge Layers".
Now only one layer is visible in the window.
12. Superimpose the two images
Click on the image of the model, and "Select All" then "Copy.“
Go to the landscape image, in selection mode, and click "Paste."
Move the image to fit as you want. And then “Save”.
13. To better know the result of your work you need to do this:
From Menu, select: File → Export as
This will appear on the screen and then click, “Export”

Add transparency to the image by using Layer > Transparency >Add Alpha
Channel. This makes it easy to add another background layer or paste your
selection into another image.

18. Use Fuzzy Select Tool select the part of the image that you wish to remove. The aim is to end up
with an image which resembles the one below. You should have the "marching ants" around the
area of the image that you wish to keep.
19. Having a "marching ants" around the area of the image that you wish to keep. And then, try to delete it.
This is the result after deleting the background. There is already the alpha channel in the background
of the flower.
20. If you really want to see the best of the your product you need to do this:
From the Menu, select: File → Export As….
This will appear on the screen and then click, “Export”
26. We need to make a path in order to change its color.
To saturate click Colors on the menu.
Colors => Hue-Saturation
27. Start moving the Hue slider to your desired color.
You can select the richness of the color by using the Saturation slider.
If you screw up, click reset and start all over. Make sure preview is ticked so
you can see the results on the image.
29. Click the foreground color and the Change Foreground
Color dialog box appear.
Choose your color and hit Ok button.
Now color the selected area. Example the color selected is red.
30. After you have it all colored, change the mode of the layer to “overlay”
After changing the mode of the layer, it should like this.
31. Make the outline disappear, choose Select on the menu.
Select => None
Now if you want to make the hard edge soft,
you can blur it a few time.
Filters => Blur => Blur or
Filters => Blur => Gaussian Blur

We need to make a path in order to change its color.
